Such an unwelcoming atmosphere. I’ve been to this store twice in the span of one week and both times, the employees have been so unwelcoming that I literally just walk right back out. First went in on Monday because I had seen a tip that caught my eye. I walked in to an empty store with two employees at the front, both of them just looked at me, the one at the register gave me a such a dirty look and the other one kind of just rolled her eyes and went back to stocking. I turned right back around and walked out. Told myself I would not be back to such an unwelcoming establishment. The second time was on Friday and the only reason I went in is because my friend saw a bag she liked. Same atmosphere when we walked in this time. Employees gave is such dirty looks and one walked away from me as I was about to ask her for help with a top. I walked right out and went to a more welcoming store. Shoppers beware.

Cyan made my jean shopping experience comfortable and enjoyable. I came in stumped on where to start, my current denim was no longer working for me. Cyan jumped in, offered help, and guided me to find 2 new pairs that I felt great in. Thank you so much for your help, I am so grateful.

Madewell's clothing speaks for itself.. it's great! Walking in, quality clothing is what I expected. What I didn't expect was the incredible staff, specifically Molly. Molly is so knowledgeable about fashion, fabrics, styles, sizing, you name it. Molly was patient and considerate, and found the perfect fit for me. It felt like I had a personal stylist. Thank you, Molly!

I came into this location on 11/04 to purchase some things for an event I had later that night. I bought 5 different items, and if you're familiar with Madewell you know that cost a pretty penny. I've been contemplating writing this review but this was one of the most isolating shopping experiences I've had. I was the only person of color in the store and the associates were quick to help everyone else but me. I was not greeted, I was not asked if I needed help finding sizes (which I did). I normally don't care about this stuff, but it's hard to look past this when you're the only person of color in the store and the associates don't even look at you. 3 stars for the actual clothes, 0 stars for the bias people demonstrate while working here.

Went into Madewell recently to buy some jeans and experienced terrible customer service. After being in the retail industry for 4 years and previously working for Madewell (at a separate location) , this was by far the worst. When I was trying on clothes, nobody assisted me in the process (extra sizes, help, etc.) and when I went to check out, the cash wrap associate completely interrupted me to talk to another customer after asking me a question. I've never been so taken back from a shopping experience.

I personally don’t understand the low reviews here. The employees were nice, they had lots of stylish clothes. Now, the crown jewel of any clothing store is obviously the mirrors. The more mirrors means more mirror selfie opportunities…I took advantage of those opportunities because as they (the mirrors) say “pics or it didn’t happen”

So I normally love madewell. They literally have the cutest clothes and the best fitting jeans. However their customer service can vary from excellent to literally the worst. I usually look online prior to going to the store to try on a few items because my size can vary. This time I went to the store I couldn't find a staff member to help me. It's hard not to take a personally when you walk around the store for 20 minutes and you're unable to get assistance. I should be smart assertive but I guess in that regard it's my fault. This is the 2nd time this week this has occurred to me at this location. And it is the weirdest thing because a few weeks ago I went to buy a pair of jeans that I saw online and I had the Best customer service from getting greeted at the door, To a lovely staff member (short, blond hair and the best smile) helping me find my size and getting me into the fitting room. Of course I'm coming back because I love their product but I'm always apprehensive about the experience I'm about to have. Maybe you should be too?

They are so rude at this location. Won’t greet or assist you. Went up to the register to buy a couple of things and the woman acted so put upon and snappy. It made things very uncomfortable and it was unprovoked and unnecessary.

I've been to this location a few times and have always had a very positive experience. The store is always kept neat and tidy, and the staff are super friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond on a couple of occasions. I came in one day to go shopping for denim shorts. I've always had a hard time finding ones that fit me and make me feel comfortable, but the associate that helped me that day was so patient and kind, even when I kept asking for additional sizes and styles to try on. Even though I didn't buy any that day, she let me know additional sizes and styles were available online to order in case I wanted to order some and try them on at home. During my most recent trip, I lost my car keys and went frantically searching through the mall to try to find them. An associate was able to find them and went out into the mall to help get them back to me. Thanks so much to Emma B and the associates in store that night that saved me from a complete panic!! :)

Courtney is the kindest and will go the extra mile to help you find what you need. I had a defective pair of jeans that I was sad to lose and she did everything she could to help me find a new pair. I sadly didn’t find a replacement in the store but her help alone is what keeps me shopping at madewell.

5 stars because of Anna! I was struggling to find jeans that fit, went to three other stores and tried on about 30 pairs before I decided to pop in here. Anna could tell I was frustrated and assured me we would find jeans that fit. And we did and i left feeling much better ☺️ Somebody give this gal a raise!
