Chris and his team refinished a four piece bedroom set from the 1980s for us. It was an outdated reddish/brown tone but he could see the potential in it. It's now much more updated with a beautiful finish. It will be treasured for years to come. We absolutely recommend Chris - you'll be amazed at what he can do.

We live in Pueblo, CO and have two pieces that belonged to great grandparents. They are solid maple dressers that had been in storage for decades, were covered in stickers (kids) and were in very bad shape. To say Chris restored these pieces would be an understatement because his work is nothing short of transcendent. These dressers have lovingly been restored back to complete works of art. The customer service was just as impressive as the quality of the work. Not only does Chris have an eye for beauty and extreme talent with furniture, he clearly loves what he does.

Had an old Haywood Wakefield telephone table restored and the crew at Kunicki did an amazing job. The table had been sitting in an old family house for generations of kids to abuse it over the decades. I doubt it ever got more than a wipe down with a damp cloth before I brought it to Kunicki. Now it looks better than I’ve ever seen it. Will absolutely use Kunicki again!

Kunicki Restoration really exceeded my expectations! My Great Grandmother's rocker that she used for her children was passed down to me from my grandfather and mother. We believe it is 122 years old. Someone sat in it and it split. Thankfully down a seam. However, it is very old and frankly needed to be restored fully. Chris at Kunicki Restoration repaired and restored all seams, sanded it down to the beautiful bare wood and re stained it with a nearly natural finish. I could not be more please. Highly recommend Kunicki Restoration.

Chris and his team recently completed the restoration of our mid century dining set, originally from the 1950s. The table and chairs look incredible! He took such care with this very special set. When we handed the set over, the chairs were coming apart at the joints and the table was chipped and very worn. Everything came back looking brand new. I absolutely love it - so much that I almost don't want to eat on it! Chris also took the time to check in with us along the way and invited us to his shop to make sure we were happy with the progress. He was spot on with his estimate of how long the job would take. And the pick up and delivery were prompt and very carefully handled. I will 100% use Chris in the future for any restoration jobs. Thank you!

I’m very late in writing this review and I have nothing but the highest praise for Kunicki Restoration. The care, compassion and skill of Chris’s craft is of the highest standard. He restored or refinished The 1950 Lane Hope chest which belong to my mother and is a treasured piece to me. Three months later I still cannot stop looking at this chest and the quality of his work. I highly recommend Chris and would use him again without hesitation.

In 1950, my father built a mid century modern home and furnished it with Eames, Saarinen, Noguchi and others. Over the years I have entrusted refinishers to bring them back to life, piece by piece. Being new to the Denver area, I found Kunicki and was DELIGHTED with their work. Sadly, my Bruno Mathsson dining table had been stored for decades in an old garage, plus it was covered with years of nicotine. My Noguchi table had split along the grain lines, and prior repairs had not worked. I entrusted my precious pieces with Kunicki, and the results were amazing. The grain of the table came to life, and the complicated legs and folding structure that had fallen apart returned the table to its unique design. Special black paint was ordered to complete the Noguchi renovation. Be ready to allow a lot of time for this work to be completed. After all these years, we were not in a hurry and the final result was amazing. So many memories!

I moved and the moving company broke the leg on a antique dinning room table, I was so sad. I found Kunichi and was nervous if anybody could fix it. When I showed up exactly when he said it woudl be ready I could not believe what I saw, not only was it fixed but I could not even find a mark.They are amazing

Highly Recommend! Kunicki restored an old curio cabinet I inherited, as well as 2 pressed leather end tables. They did an amazing job & I could not be more pleased. The end tables were damaged due to our puppy chewing on the corners and legs. You'd never know! The cabinet is very old and had quite a bit of wear and tear, and needed some trim work done. Not only did they fix the damage, they brought back the luster & beautiful wood grain pattern. I would absolutely use their services for any type of restoration project in the future. Thank you Kunicki Restoration for taking such great care of my family treasures!

I have an old rocker that’s been in my family for four generations. It was in pieces when I brought it to Chris and he brought it completely back to life. I couldn’t be happier with the results.
