An intimate space with exhibits, paintings, furniture, decorative objects such as ceramics, metal, glass, masterfully curated and chronologically displayed.. the highlight is Vance Kirkland’s fabulous work, and the studio he worked in. A must visit for art enthusiasts I think.

The new place is beyond wonderful. This delightful collection is a jewel that got a great setting. Best museum in Denver! Thank you to the folks who made this happen.

Great fine and decorative art. But don't be confused.. it's not Kirkland as in Costco brand. So you can't buy it in bulk. They do have hot dogs though

About Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art
Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art allows visitors to time travel through about 150 years of art. The evolving collections contain over 30,000 works by more than 1,500 artists and designers, with about 4,400 works on view.
The three principal collections are all shown in salon style:
-Celebrated international decorative art collection from about 1870 to the present with examples of every major design period from Arts & Crafts through Postmodern.
-Colorado & regional art collection from about 1845 to the present.
-A retrospective of Colorado’s distinguished painter, Vance Kirkland (1904–1981).
