Brand spanking new hotel, front desk super friendly and helpful. All staff were quick to greet us throughout the hotel. Our big hangup was we needed a room with a desk which was apparently not a thing in the king room. So we moved to a room with 2 Queens, but the beds were awkwardly spaced so it wasn't easy to get to the window and if we shared a bed, one of us doesn't get a nightstand (so ironically it would have been better to have a king bed in this space). Lobby was nice. Elevators quick. Tip for hotel would be to program the bathroom motion detector light on the lowest setting (no one wants a blast of light on a late night bathroom break). WiFi good. Overall a decent stay!
Noteworthy details: Parking is $35 a night, there is a $20 'resort' fee daily which they really should just build into the rate, it just angers customers otherwise.

Great hotel in a great location. Staff was very professional and the amenities were better than I expected. Definitely will be staying here again.

This is a fantastic brand new hotel. Rooms are really nice, beds are super comfortable. The hotel and area are surprisingly quiet, and there are a handful of great restaurants all within walking distance. Easy access to I25, and all the staff here are super friendly. Would highly recommend it!

This new Kimpton hotel is absolutely amazing. Everyone was very kind, respectful, knowledgeable, helpful, and above all quick to answer any question. The location is clean, not too busy, and well maintained. I loved the room! They have a rooftop and bar, bar in lobby, happy hour in the lobby as well. In room dining was delicious. I ordered the steak. The staff is very kind and above all accommodating.

Had an excellent stay at the Kimpton Claret. Hotel is beautiful and I found the staff helpful and engaging. I enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and had great service and conversation with Sean my server. My room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. I used the valet service and the employees had my vehicle out quickly. Overall a great experience and I will be a returning guest. 5 Stars all around.

Beware of hidden charges. $35 to park, and no place nearby for free. And $20 amenity fee, for amenities which were not visible to me. So my bargain rate cost me almost 30% more than expected = $55. I did not see reference to these charges when I booked.

Absolutely horrible hotel. They did not help me at check-in after I missed my flight and they called my friend a racial slur when we walked in and there was poo stains on the sheet. Avoid at all costs especially front desk lady in glasses she needs to be fired.

I've stayed at a lot of different hotels over many years and I would consider myself a pretty picky person. Therefore I was honesty surprised by what an unexpectedly positive and refreshingly different experience I had at the Kimpton Claret. The rooms were so well done; modern, clean, relaxing, comfortable. This felt luxurious in way that much higher price point establishments have missed. Combine this with earnestly friendly service from every team member I interacted with: Ana at the front desk who made my stay special by upgrading my room so that I could enjoy the amazing view; Andi at the beautiful penthouse Lounge who was very pleasant; Don at the Valet desk who had my car ready to go in the morning at the exact time we agreed on the night before; and Madi the hostess at the Lounge that helped me find a seat near an outlet so that I could work on my computer. Everyone I met made my stay better. And I say these things as an avowed cynic and pessimist at heart, jaded by years of uninterested or neglectful customer service. This is truly a gem. I'm so glad I found this hotel and I look forward to my next stay (bye bye Hyatt Place DTC!). I know this is going to be harder to get into as word spreads that it's a great place to stay. I also know the place is brand new as I write this and whether or not the team running the show can keep this up in the years to come remains and unanswered question. However, I'm going to stay positive because this was really something great! Thank you Kimpton Claret. A breath of fresh air!
EDIT: I was recognized by name when I met Don again on my return stay! And Ana, thank you so much for making me feel welcome all over again with the thoughtful handwritten note!

Stayed at the Kimpton Claret for 3 nights, nice new hotel but have several issues with the hotel.
$20 amenity charge nightly that you're not told about, when we asked what this was for they said gym etc. however our daughter had asked where the gym was and was told there wasn't one.
35.00 per night for valet parking, the hotel offers no other choice.
Had a package delivered to the hotel and signed for by a receptionist, even after several "searches" It couldn't be located, on checkout they were able to find it.
Room had no hot water in the shower, we reported it in the morning and was told it was fixed when we returned in the evening however it wasn't, we were moved to another room which wasn't as nice.
The smoke detector "strobe" is so bright in a dark room and quite obnoxious, they did fix it though with a piece of duct tape put over it.
All in all the hotel is nice as its new and the staff friendly but they need to work out the kinks and eliminate the extra charges or at least give you choices.

Our stay was amazing! Clean rooms, friendly staff that go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Valet had fast service and welcomed our pets with treats. We were welcomed with some wine, they also have non alcoholic drinks. We loved that it’s close to rail transit and great places to eat. We have stayed at other Kimpton hotels, but Kimpton Claret has been the best! We will be coming back!
Rooms: Spacious, mini bar, pet friendly, clean, comfy bed and fluffy pillows
Safety: Security on site, safe neighborhood
Walkability: Close to rail, dog park around the corner, coffee and breakfast less than 2 minute walk

Stayed here on opening day 2. Service was amazing, though they were still working out some kinks and getting going. Didn't get upgraded (IHG Diamond Ambassador) but didn't need it due to a quick overnight stay. Restaurant was lovely, service was wonderful. Eager to welcome and accommodate. Breakfast was not available due to Crowdstrike shutdowns, and they waived the amenity fee as a result, which I appreciated. Close to restaurants and some bars. Would likely stay here again.
Note: they offer a free shuttle within a five-mile radius in a gorgeous Mercedes EQS SUV. I did take advantage of that.

Beautiful new hotel with nice staff but parking is $35 and it isn’t noted in the booking or in the app. There is no self parking. There is a garage just south that is a bit less expensive. Almost all other hotels around are free so be sure to include this in your estimate of total costs. This is next to the Belleview station of the lite rail so convenient to get downtown or to Park Meadows. Also can do airport with one train change. The rooms also have a fire alarm light that blinks every few minutes all night so bring your sleep mask. The western facing ‘mountain view’ rooms look right into the apartment building across the street so don’t bother paying extra for Mountain View. South facing rooms would be the best as east facing are to the I25 highway. This location is easy walking to restaurants and dog park. There are also nice restaurants across I25 on Belleview and just two blocks south on Quebec and a long block east at Landmark (long walk or easy drive).
Walkability: Lots of restaurants and dog park within a couple of short blocks. Walk to Belleview Lite Rail Station.

We ended up stranded in Denver when our flights were cancelled. The staff went out of their way to make our experience amazing. Lauren and Braeden at the front desk in particular provided excellent customer service! They turned a stressful time for us into something special!
Rooms: Beds are comfortable and I love the charging stations on the nightstands!
Food & drinks: The breakfast menu is delicious!
