I hate writing poor reviews but I urge anyone reading this to not buy the Elyza couch from Home stars/ 5280 direct. This is their most popular couch and I’m surprised there aren’t been more reviews because the quality of the fabric is really just terrible.I had a great experience working with Home Stars but within a week of use the couch began to pill. I thought it might just be a temporary shedding phase but it’s only continued to get worse. My couch looks as old as my previous ten-year-old pottery barn couch when I’ve only had it for a few months, most of the time covered by blankets or sheets. I don’t have kids and only have one dog.I’m sooo disappointed every time I come home and expected more for the $2,000 cost. This was the first couch I’ve ever bought new and I was expecting to keep it for a long time.I called the store to try to remedy the issue and was told to email the damages inbox. This email address then bounced back so I forwarded the message to the email from the website. This has not been answered for several weeks so I have not been able to process a refund.The Elyza couch may look beautiful in store but do not waste your money!

John and Alec were amazing delivery people. They were on time and took great care with our oversized couch, maneuvering it both in the elevator and our apartment. Assembly was quick and they took all the trash with them which made things easy for me!

Had a complicated move in on a couch, and it didn't quite work as plan, but the moving team was fantastic and worked with us to try different things to hopefully make it work. It didn't, but we had a back up plan, and the team was gracious with us, considerate of our house and our wants.

Old man was very rude not only to me but to another lady yelling at her the price, he was very rude with me he threw the calculator to see the price, was being nice at first but don’t recommend coming here. Wanted to sell us a broken dining table

I had several pieces of furniture I was looking at purchasing from this store. They had been advertising that they are liquidating/closing, and that a majority of their inventory would be discounted (up to 70% apparently). I have spoken to multiple employees of this business and given them my contact information so I can get some final pricing and delivery details. It has been several weeks and no one has reached out to me, despite my numerous calls. I have given up with trying to make this sale happen. I finally got frustrated and decided to buy my pieces at another furniture store (which had way more selection). Quite disappointing- maybe this is why they are closing..?

Be cautious with this place. Owner is very shady. Has a box truck listed for sale says it's available then someone coming to look at it. Reads your messages but doesnt respond. Ask again if available because post is still up. Tell him we are very interested and have cash in hand. No response but reads the message then tells my partner it is available not knowing its my partner. If this is how he sales his box truck I would run very fast from the business. Mark is listed as owner/CEO and is shady as hell. Communication goes a long way.
