Enjoyed the many facts and history of the state. A very nice tribute to Sand Creek Massacre that is not in any history class. Many of the interactive exhibits were not working. The Xth Mountain Division in the basement cannot be missed. Recommended

Really neat museum. Well lit and lots of interesting exhibits
Artifacts, stories, and art intermingle to tell the tale of Colorado and the American West. The museum is designed for multi-generational audiences and consists of over fifteen exhibits spanning four floors. Colorado’s story is constantly evolving, and exhibitions and displays bridge the gap between the history of this great state and its impact on the here and now. Other offerings include the new History Colorado Makerspace, where visitors of all ages can enjoy hands-on constructive experiences as well as Stephen H. Hart Research Center.
