Our daughter had an awesome first year in the infant room at Highlands Academy. She started around 5 months old and pretty quickly her teachers felt like extended members of our family. Very positive experience with the Llamas classroom!

We have been with HA for about 6 months and have two children enrolled - an infant and a toddler. We have been incredibly happy with the staff, teachers and facility - they are incredibly communicative, kind, supportive and both children have had dramatic leaps in physical, emotional and mental development since attending. With milestones or tough transitions, like dropping naps or even bottle refusal, the teachers went above and beyond to help us determine how to proceed and even recommend advice based on their experiences. They also offer great perks like parents night out or parents day out for some babysitting coverage at school after hours! We couldn’t recommend enough.

I absolutely love Highlands Academy. My children are always well taken care of, rarely sick (for daycare kids), ahead in all milestones and very very happy! Both my daughter and son are always safe and very happy, I never worry about them at Highlands Academy. We started both children at 12 weeks and it was the best decision we could have made. I 100% reccomend HA!

Both my children attended Highlands Academy spanning infant care until preschool. The care my children received was exemplary and allowed them both to thrive. In addition to wonderful and caring teachers, the administration also provides excellent communication and guidance.

We have been a happy HA family since 2020 when we enrolled my then-1 year old son in a toddler classroom and my then-4 year daughter old in a pre-K classroom. My daughter loved her time at HA. She learned everything she needed for an excellent transition to Kindergarten, and she loves returning to HA and saying hi to her pre-K teachers when we pick up her brother. My son has always thrived at HA with loving, attentive teachers and the added benefit of the social-emotional and yoga curriculum, plus the sports activities (which are so cute).We recently tried out a new school for my son (now 4) but struggled with the transition, so we reached out to Claire at HA to see if we could return to HA. She responded immediately and was able to enroll us right away. We were so grateful to be welcomed back to HA with open arms. His transition back was seamless and he is thriving and very happy.We really value the robust pre-K programming that is age-targeted, the social-emotional curriculum AND the yoga and Spanish and sports enrichments. With the Colorado Universal Pre-K benefits along with Denver Preschool Program, the tuition for pre-K is super reasonable. My kids have always been warmly greeted by name by so many teachers – I’m always impressed how the teachers and admin team know everybody. We are so happy to be back.

Had two kiddos attend Highlands Academy , one for the years before starting elementary school- they absolutely loved it and so did we! The school is a community, and the curriculum is thoughtful and fun with sports, yoga, music, language and social and emotional learning. Where your child spends their day is an important decision and the genuine care for our family was top notch here. Highly recommended!

I moved to Denver this past October and started working at Highlands Academy almost right away. Since starting my career here, I have learned so SO much and have met many wonderful people.I’ve recently been able to take over my classroom as lead and I couldn’t be happier. I watch my children thrive and grow every day and it warms my heart every day.Highlands Academy is one of the nicest and most well put together schools that I have ever worked for. HA has become a home for me and I’m excited to continue my career here.

There really aren't words to express how incredible Highlands Academy truly is. The pandemic brought a lot of hardships, but it also brought some good. For me, it lead me to HA and working here has been one of the best things to happen to me. I've grown as a person and a professional, our owners are genuinely some of the most kind people I've ever met, our admin actually cares about us, and I'm so lucky to be a part of an amazing teaching team. Our staff loves each of our students and their families with all our hearts and want the best for all of them. I can't imagine working anywhere else.

Highlands Academy has been the best workplace for me since I got out of school for my ECE certification. I have gained a lot of knowledge from my lead teacher and everyone around me in general. I have been here for almost 3 years and I have never experienced such a great workplace like this one. Holli is an amazing owner and definitely shows that she cares about her employees!

This is hands down the best day care I could ever imagine. We were lucky enough to be able to drop in for a week with our 16 month old while traveling for work. I knew it was going to be good based on what I saw but I didn’t realize HOW AMAZING it really was. Our daughter was pretty shy and was at the height of stranger danger when we went to check it out. Miss Laura was sooo wonderful with her and right away I knew she was going to have the time of her life here. Between the sports guy that comes and shows the kids sports stuff, the yoga, the storytime, music time, the splash day, this school has more fun than I ever had in any school in my life. She was genuinely so happy and engaged, we were just so grateful she was able to experience it! Thank you so much for getting us in, we hope to be back soon!!

I have worked at HA close to two years now I had recently graduated High school when I started working here & I have loved it the environment here is so loving. The way I get to see my kids grow day by day and achieve their goals and the workers here are so incredible that they have became family to me, the owners & administration always know how to make staff feel welcomed & show how much they appreciate their employees HA will always be my home!

We loved our teachers at Highlands Academy. They were warm and welcoming and made our summer experience really positive. Super thankful for all they did to make sure the kids had fun and felt at home.

Would not recommend this establishment for parents or for people to work at. One of the teachers force fed a child pizza after he said he didn't want any, causing him vomit the unchewed pizza. The same teacher isolated and yelled at a boy who had an accident telling to stop crying and that he needed to own it. This teacher had Child Protective Services investigate these situation but, unfortunately, 9/10 CPS will not investigate these incidences. This teacher still works there today. Highland Academy would rather sweep issues under the rug to maintain its image and INCOME than to protect the wellbeing if the children they're solely there for.

The level of disregard this place holds especially for their infant care is unreal! Definitely ask about prior infractions they had with licensing and Definitely rethink decision to leave your kid under their supervision

We are so excited to send our baby to Highlands Academy! Bri and her team provide so much support to assist our child with sitting up, crawling, eating solids, knowing when to change diaper sizes, teething, learning...all the things parents need help with! We don't know what we would do without Highlands Academy, and specifically Bri! It's more than just a daycare, it's a life changing support system!!
