A spectacular place to get tested! The staff is super friendly and they are passionate about educating clients. I learned so much in my short visit. On top of that, this was the first time I didn't even feel the p**** during the blood draw. Made a potentially stressful event calming and destigmatizing. I especially appreciate how queer friendly the environment is.Get STI tested here, it's cool and free ?

I had my annual std appt here and it was very easy going. Really nice people and was in an out the door in less than an hour. However, there’s things you need to be aware. For some reason this clinic is unable to give you your test results. They don’t send them through email, don’t have a patient portal and aren’t able to send in the mail. You have to wait two weeks for them to have your results printed out and then come pick them up in person. I’m sorry but this is 2023. Please have a better resource to access our results. No one is down to drive out their way to pick up their test results.By the time they had my results ready for pick up (two weeks) I was already in Chicago for the spring break. I got back to Denver and was sick for another week before coming here to get my results. Since things are handled paper wise, you’d think they’d have it organized alphabetically and on hand but apparently not. Idk if they use an EMR but I showed up to get my results and couldn’t find their location. I called twice and drove around for thirty minutes before finding their new location. It says they’re open for business so I show up and door says closed. I see people inside and knock on the window, and two people answer and explain to me they’re not actually open for business and don’t have access to any of my records. (If you’re not open, update google to it doesn’t show your open..). When I ask them when they’ll be open and ready, they tell me to “email us and ask us if we have wifi yet.”… why would I do that ? I’m not getting paid to call you guys to find out if you’re up and working. Please be serious. Then I explain how long it’s been since my appt, how I wasn’t made aware that they moved and it was a hassle to drive out to Denver and I receive a dismissive “Well it says on our website that we moved” okay and ? I personally don’t care, especially when I called multiple times to find your location, no one picked up, and was told I was able to come pick up my test results through a voice message. If y’all knew you were moving, then maybe say that in the vm/phone call so ppl aren’t showing up to the wrong locations. If you don’t have the patience and compassion with patients who are simply trying to get access to their health records then consider another field to work in. This is coming from an MA who worked in this field for five years before going back to school to continue my education. If you’re reading this, I’d recommend Denver Health on Broadway. They’re open Tuesdays and allow free walk ins, and have your results ready and accessible the same day. Just make sure you’re there as soon as you open. I went last year with blood work done and had everything in my hands (ELECTRONICALLY) that night. I’d have gone again this year but their appt times didn’t work with my schedule.I prefer to support local businesses and non profits, esp ran by poc and lgbtq+ community like myself but not if they’re going to be dismissive, unresponsive and unhelpful. Please consider discussing with your staff about taking initiative to help others who choose to go to you. I had a great experience here at my first appointment but one rude and unhelpful worker can easily change someone’s impression. I recommended this place to a lot of other queer friends but maybe I should direct them elsewhere.

Making an appointment as soon as possible was easy on the website. I was able to go in and get tested, the HIV test was rapid so the results take maybe 5-10 minutes which I didn’t need, but I’m so grateful it’s available for our community. My tester was also super informative, kind, and welcoming. My STD results came back in about a week via voicemail.don’t have any complaints it would be a great option if you can provide results online or via a patient portal or on paper in the future that would be a huge plus. Thank you!!

What an incredible resource. The team was so helpful in calming my anxieties and providing efficient results and answering any questions I had. Will definitely be a long time donor to HeyDenver to insure everyone in the lgbtq has access to these health services

I came making the mistake thinking I could’ve gotten treated here, like I said I didn’t know. When I went in there I explained everything to them and the main doctor or whoever laughed at me me not knowing they only tested here. I fought back tears and felt so embarrassed. I wish they were more sympathetic.

I made an online appointment and received a confirmation email and call to arrive a half hour early. I waited 45 minutes outside and the hours listed on Google say that its open but no one is here. Tried calling and the voice mail says leave a message and we'll get back to you in a couple days. Disappointed.

I walked in for a quick checkup to make sure everything was Kosher, and was incredibly happy with my visit! I think Ruby (lmk if I butchered it) was the one to help me, she was extremely helpful, personable and kind. I will highly recommend this place to people in the future!
