The personnel at the Hertz counter were very friendly and efficient. I really enjoyed the vehicle and process…..until….. it came time to return the car. I understand the office being closed for the holiday upon return but there was zero instruction on what to do with the car upon return. The sign on the door said the office was closed but nothing about what to do with the car. A simple note saying where to park the car would have been helpful. Returns were left on the street and sidewalk by various people. But overall, it was a good experience.

We had to wait almost an hour for a car to become available, so we didn't quite get what we payed for. Otherwise no problems.

Ultimately professional agents at the deal, but understaffed and long wait times at peak periods in the morning. Hoping they can advocate for themselves and get some shift support in the mornings.

1) was closed both the day of and before when I was supposed to drop off the rental
2) there was no room on their lot to drop off the rental
3) the number they told us to call had no way to speak to a representative
Stranded downtown at midnight. If I could give negative stars I would.

I wanted to give a 5 star review because I have received very good service at this location. I have worked with Josephina Nolasco and she has treated me very well, as well as all the other staff. This is a top notch place.

ATTENTION! Additional service fees are simply added to the order, unsolicited and uncontrolled. We paid over $300 more for services we didn't order, e.g. Premium Road Serv, Fuel Purchase Option, Premium Radio Fees etc. When renting from here, make sure to state you want no additional fees other than ordered and check the Rental Contract before signing anything! I complained to the "so called" customer service, after weeks of waiting and over a month of back and forth i get nothing! They just keep sending standard replies. Never Hertz again!

Horrible experience here. The person in front of me was upset and switched out a car that had a non functioning horn. They immediately turned around and reissued that car to me. Not only was the vehicle knowingly faulty (non functioning horn), it did not have a full tank of gas. This place is a complete rip off.
It is impossible to reach an actual person by the Gold Member care line, each option ends in a prerecorded message to use the website or the app.

Lady was super nice only reason it didn't get a 1. Very sketchy run down area. Cars were all old beat up and not very clean.

The lot is located downtown, about 30 minutes from the airport. They only had one person working when we arrived, the other person was leaving for lunch as we arrived, telling people to stay on the other side of the lobby as she left. They charged $13.95 per day for each extra driver.so the price can quickly escalate. The car we were given had exterior damage, which we noted and had added to the contract agreement. It wasn't previously although it was quite noticeable.

It’s been 1.5 month and we are still waiting to receive our $500 US bond back. With absolutely no help what so ever.
This has been such a bad customer service experience! At first when we arrived they had overbooked. So we had to wait for ages for a car to be returned so we could have one (even though we had booked weeks in advance)
We were told that our bond would be returned once we return the car. We turned the car in in perfect condition And are still waiting for our money back. 1.5 month later and counting.
Very poor service !
Don’t book through hertz! I know I won’t book through them again!

returned car "after hours" like they said to do, on time, with full charge (EV). have been getting odd pending charges on credit card and today a message saying "car hasn't been returned". The staff must not have gotten the return or processed it and now i'm getting charged, also they aren't answering phone. lovely way to waste my afternoon, sorting this out. thanks hertz.
