Since when does FedEx charge a “handling fee” for dropping off a package with a prepaid label???! ABSOLUTELY NOT. Only this location apparently. Is it coming else here? FedEx, watch yourself. Walk 2 blocks to 17th to avoid the fee.

I’ve generally had good experiences here but today I walked into the store, said hi to the clerk, went to the printing room, and proceeded to get locked in there by the same clerk when they decided to take a break. I’m not sure how they didn’t see me or how they didn’t bother checking to see if anyone was in here, especially considering that I was acknowledged by the clerk when I entered. Absolutely unacceptable time to take a break and an unacceptable way to go about taking a break, locking customers in a room is terrible business and I will not be coming back to this location ever again.

According to one of the employees, they’re “not a real FedEx” and, as such, attempt to charge a $4 handling fee to scan a prepaid label.

Friendly, easy, all sorted within minutes, what's not to like?
Yes, they charge a handling fee, but there is a sign up front on the counter with their rates, so you know about it as soon as you walk in. All hotels charge handling fees now, so no difference there. On a 18lbs box I paid $15 fee, no biggie.

Dropped off my package and they re-rated my prepaid large FedEx box that I purchased in the app for $30.96 to $62.30 then charged me a $50 handling fee. I printed the label on my own at the Le Meridian. Packaged it on my own (with special tape) and dropped it off on my own. I took photos of the package before I sent it and FedEx took a photo on delivery. I was told it was repacking fees yet the same special tape was used and all contents inside were untouched. So what handling fee??? DO NOT DROP OFF YOUR PACKAGE HERE. Filed a fraud claim with FedEx Corporate and are awaiting results. I did NOT consent to the handling charge and they did nothing but ship my package which is part of the job. I will be disputing this with my credit card company if corporate denies it as well. This location is producing fraud as other reviews show as well. DO NOT GO HERE.

Charges handling fees for all outbound packages, even with a prepaid label. Go to one of the other FedEx locations if you must ship via FedEx.

I got charged a fee that they couldn't explain. Corporate tells me it's a fee for the employee to package my items .. They did no such thing.Charging someone for something that you didn't do is fraud.

This FedEx office location is helpful for shipping things back to the office after a tradeshow at the convention center.

Office feel. Perfect spot for someone on the go for self serve. Private enough and write enough for someone that needs to sign documents, and be on a business call, who needs to use laptop, computer, print, staples available, paper clips, pens, free wifi from Hyatt that they are allowed to use.

Hyatt charges extra fees on top of fedex. Find a FedEx not in a hotel. Hyatt fees are causing paying customers to walk 4 blocks to avoid Hyatt fees. Bad business and bad for retail as a whole.
