I’d give Evans East, Dr Gao, Dr Rodriguez, Dr Farmer and the rest of the team 10 stars if I could. They took exceptional care of my baby girl (senior cat, Boots) when she became ill and stopped eating earlier this year.
I brought her in after having zero luck with our regular vet. After just a few visits and tests, Dr Gao was able to diagnose her with (unfortunately) renal lymphoma. She took her time explaining everything (e.g., test results, treatment) and even let me call her with additional questions, which went a long way in my book considering how scary and stressful it was.
Unfortunately, Boots took a turn for the worse before her first oncology appt and I had to make the difficult decision to euthanize. And on that day when I was an absolute wreck, the Evans East team was kind, patient, caring, and compassionate.
Overall, I highly recommend this place and can’t thank them enough for their efforts.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I always leave know everyone actually cares. An extra bonus when you don’t feel like they are after your pocketbook like other clinics.

We've been taking our cats here since we moved to Denver. The staff has always been very considerate about not over-stressing them during the exam, even though that sometimes made the exam run long because they gave the cat time to relax and get accustomed to being handled by strangers.

Great vet. Easy to get an appointment, they were running a few minutes late and everyone apologized, for being 5 minutes late. Super friendly and helpful. This is the best place to take our pet.

I recently brought my almost 11-year-old golden retriever, Mumford, in for a checkup, followed by a dental procedure, which included a tumor removal and tooth extraction. Dr. Matlock’s care was nothing short of exceptional.
After struggling to find a vet who could prioritize my senior dog’s health—especially with his arthritis—and trying two other vets over the past 16 months, I can confidently say that Dr. Matlock truly stands out.
She is patient, informative, and kind, never pushy in her approach.
Her ability to connect with both pets and their owners is outstanding, and I always feel comfortable and confident in her guidance.
I’m so grateful to have been referred to Dr. Matlock—she goes above and beyond and is truly one of a kind!

They've cared for several of my senior cats during their final years and continue to care for my remaining pets. Now that they offer care credit I really don't have anything that they could improve on. Wonderful vet team!

Highly highly recommend Evans East animal hospital! Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, Dr Howel & Sarah the vet tech are AMAZING! I’ve had some scary situations happen with my dog Marlow and East Evans has always been able to get us in fast and always at a reasonable cost. Our family appreciates East Evans so much for always taking such good care of our fur baby!

I’ve taken both of my cats here now due to recommendation of the cat hospital across the street, both of my cats received incredible care here at Evans East and I can comfortably make it my first choice for cat care from now on!

Love Evans.
I’ve moved a bit since having my dog & we’ve been to a few veterinary clinics. Evan’s is top tier.
Pricing is fair in comparison to other places. The staff are knowledgeable, kind to my dog & they’re always friendly but professional.
The clinic is clean and they can take care of a lot of issues there.
10/10 would recommend to any dog moms or dads.
