I visited El Camerino Beauty Salon and had the pleasure of being treated by Juvenal. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcome and cared for.
I was very impressed with his ability to listen to exactly what I wanted and offer suggestions based on his experience. The final result was better than I expected; My cut/color/hairstyle was perfect and I received many compliments.

As a regular customer of El Camerino Beauty Salon, I have always appreciated the quality service they provided. However, after a recent change in barbers, my experience took a turn for the worse.
The new barbers seemed inexperienced and unskilled, which resulted in a disastrous haircut for my son. Not only was the cut uneven, but it also lacked the precision and attention to detail we've come to expect from El Camerino.
Needless to say, this experience has left me deeply dissatisfied, and I cannot in good conscience recommend El Camerino Beauty Salon more. It is unfortunate to see a once reliable establishment decline in quality due to changes in staff.

If I could give a 0, I WOULD. Ive come to the salon before and I never would have a problem when I would simply tell them ONLY the tips, nothing more, this is because one time I asked them to cut maybe an inch or two and they went beyond and cut 5. I thought maybe it was just a bad day. I trusted this salon again after years of only cutting the tips because of fear that it would happen again. So I tired again. hope that maybe I was just going crazy that day. My hair was down to my waist this time. and I needed a cut badly so I asked for maybe two inches, the lady confirmed with me and we went forth. By the time she turned me around to look myself in the Mirror, my hair was up to my SHOULDERS. I told her that I think she cut it too short and she than began saying that's what we agreed ???? Makes no sense how did we go from 2 inches all the way to 10+ inches. would NOT RECOMMEND. STAY AWAY.

My experience began pleasant, until I noticed the owner did not know what she was doing with my type of hair. I have curly hair. I brought in my own product and asked to have my hair deep conditioned & under the dryer; the dryer barely worked.She did not detangle with a comb, she used a needle brush, did not add heat protective product. Used a needle brush to blow dry which pulled my hair leaving knots.Her flat iron hardly worked & Elis charged me $135 USD BECAUSE SHE SAID MY HAIR WAS DIFFERENT.Do not go here if unless you are Mexican as she charges them $45 for the same service.Services: Shampoo & conditioning

Over priced especially for a kids simple haircut. They pushed back my sons hairline and you could see his hair length at the top was uneven.Service: Haircut

I made an appointment for my daughter at 3:30 and she wasn't seen until 4. That's ridiculous as well as the price for a shampoo and flat iron. Will not go there again. Poor service.Services: Haircut

Waste of time, I arrived the stylists saw me come in and none said anything to me. Took a seat and waited my turn only to be ignored by the next available stylist. Unprofessional.
