There's a reason their prices are so cheap. They have the worst customer service. They treat you like animals. One star is too good for them.

Our dollar voucher on check24 has a different address (24890 E. 78th Ave) and different opening hours (8am-8pm) so we are kinda confused now…

From beginning to end, this was an awful experience. Our shuttle driver harassed us and scolded us for not tipping better after he drove an extra 20 feet to pick us up (he had no one aboard and was leaving the terminal so we waved him down). Then we were met by a sassy lady who took advantage of the fact that we were a group of young 20-something girls. She basically forced us to drive a different car other than the one we initially reserved, promising us there would be NO price increase. Wouldn’t you know, we were charged an extra $570 upon return. Also upon return we waited 30 minutes for a shuttle before another customer went over to ask what was going on and it turns out the shuttle driver was asleep in his shuttle. I would not recommend this place to anyone.**Update: they offered me a refund of half the extra amount we were charged.

If I could bargain with the stars, I would. Let’s begin by noting that I reserved a rental car almost a month ago online. Yesterday, I completed the online check-in process, providing my payment details and driver’s license, and received confirmation that my car was ready for pickup. Sounds simple, right? Unfortunately, it was anything but. Upon arrival, I was greeted by an overly anxious attendant. She asked me to insert my card into the reader and leave it there for the duration of our transaction. Then, she presented me with an option to purchase accident coverage for $65. I agreed, only to find out that my total cost had jumped from $300 to $700. Furthermore, I was informed that I couldn’t use a debit card for payment; it had to be a credit card. The attendant failed to disclose the amount she would charge to my card. To pay with a debit card, I was required to put down a $500 deposit in addition to the rental fee. Fine, I thought, let’s proceed. But wait, there’s more – a credit check was also necessary. Unfortunately, my credit was locked, causing further complications. Ultimately, I was left stranded at the airport. When I questioned why these issues weren’t explained during online check-in, the manager, sporting a man bun, dismissed me, suggesting I should have read the fine print. In the end, I had no choice but to Uber 86 miles to my destination

Just like everyone else said avoid if possible. Three months after returning my car I got charge for $32.50. When asking what it was for they said it was for a toll of 2.50 with a $30 fee on top of it. There is no way in the state if you’re out of town to know where the tolls are or if there are any. And you’re not warned when picking up the car about any kind of toll pass.Either find a toll pass or find another car rental that won’t continue to charge months later.

DO NOT RENT HERE!!! I prepaid with Travelocity and was told by the desk that the amount paid would be applied to my upgrade. THEY LIED! There is no customer service phone number and the only way I can dispute the charges is through an online form which they don’t respond to (it’s been 4 days). I have been charged $479 by Travelocity and $545 by Dollar. Travelocity cannot help because Dollar will not return communication. This is fraud, plain and simple.

Look elsewhere. Pay slightly more at another company to get better service.I pre-paid online and declined all coverages, but the rep Brandon at the desk managed to sneak it on my agreement. I tried to get it removed afterwards via email, but was unable to. My credit card company ultimately refunded me.

BEWARE!! FYI DOLLAR CAR RENTAL IS OWN BY HERTZ RENTAL I rented our car through AAA. Upon arriving to get the car, the hello guy could not find the reservations. After finally getting the reservations pulled up the guy told me that he could put me in a larger car because the one I rented was small. He said I can upgrade your car for $25 a day. At this point, I have been traveling 24 hours and was tired along with three other people. I could not find my reservations with AAA and the guy kept rushing me to make a decision. I was sure that I had rented a car in the intermediate level. So I said sure just add the upgraded car. He told me that whenever I return the car to just park it in the parking lot and leave the keys in it because they are always busy. I thought this to be a strange request instead, when I did return the car I took it through the return line. After receiving my final bill, I realized that there were numerous charges. I tried to reach dollar car rental only to find out that you cannot speak to a person. You must go online and leave a message. So I am home now and went through my bill I had in fact already reserved an intermediate suv. I was charged $175 extra along with multiple other charges. Do not rent from this company or its parent company.

Review your rental agreement closely!!! We had a good experience with our customer rep. She offered an upgrade at a discounted price. After we left the airport, we looked at the agreement and found we were charged for the damage waiver and roadside service which we declined. We called every Dollar customer service number (5) that we could find and never had the opportunity to talk to a person.

I rented a car on 3 MAR from the Denver Dollar car rental. The previous renters obviously smoked in the car. The smell was overwhelming and i needed to drive with my windows cracked. Please ensure your rental cars do not come with terrible odor.
