I always love coming to do the bang thing! I love the atmosphere of the salon and the calming presence of Toby, the owner. I’ve been going to Toby for five years now and have never been disappointed. I always leave feeling glamorous and cared for.

I really wanted to leave 5 stars but I'm so upset with my cut.. I wanted an all over brown which is what I got, I'm happy with the color and the girl who did it was super amazing. But my hair was already cut straight across to begin with and I asked for just a touch up to make it even and it looks awful honestly. The part underneath is longer and it's uneven. I waited until I washed and straighted it to see what it looked like it was hard to tell in the salon because of lighting and I was wearing a dark shirt but this turned out horrible unfortunately. It was my first time getting my hair done in over 2 years and so I had high expectations and this place had great reviews so I drove almost an hour & a half to check it out.. again I love the color but this cut is so disappointing:( Also it was an additional $70 I noticed on my emailed receipt. If I knew it was going to be $70 I wouldn't have done the cut.

I forgot to do a review the last time I came, but this place is amazing. The vibe here is great and everyone I was able to interact with was so nice and made the experience that much better. My stylist Lizzie gave amazing advice on what I should be doing with my hair and how, and the work that she does is amazing. I've loved my hair both times I've come so far.

Color house is an amazing salon. Upon walking in your offered a beverage, and greeted by friend dogs. I get my hair cut by Whitney, and love the experience she creates. I love my hair every time I go here, and I don’t have to have a vision of what I want it to look like. She just does it perfect!

First off I want to say that I have worked in salons many years of my life. Managing and coordinating. That said I know a lot about the atmosphere and what procedure looks like in a healthy way.
I first went in to see the owner Toby to have a consultation. I had a previous highlight that was toned incorrectly leaving behind a muddy color (different salon) so I wanted to get re-high lighted and toned. I have/had a very full head of hair.
The next day I was scheduled to see Whitney. She said we could definitely do the highlight and my hair integrity was great no issues to be concerned with. Which I agreed. She told me I would be at a level eight blonde..... I was a level seven neutral. She proceeded to do an all over highlight. Then layed a toner down. Washed me out and I could see that my Hair color was just about the same as it was when I came in minus a slight tone adjustment. I was not brighter in any way. My hair looks brown. The color is not the issue. After she braided my hair in a wet braid. Since a blowout was an extra cost and I wanted to Go a healthier route.I was fine with a wet braid. I then paid my four hundred dollars..
. Which is absolutely insane for a highlight. Especially when I left with little change to my hair and HALF of my hair intact.
After I got home and my hair dried, I realized right away. Half of my hair was gone! I have been blonde all my life. I have highlighted repeatedly for years and years And never once have I ever experienced such tremendous breakage. Chunks of my hair is missing. I can't style it. I can't braid it. My identity is completely gone.
What's more upsetting is when I reached out to Toby the owner, The first time she had Recommended that I take "hers" from an online website. To restore the hair that I had lost in her salon..... The second time I reached out a week later, I was completely ghosted. Zero response at all.
When you bleach your hair , you have to expect a level of damage. However when your client looses hair in the bowl, and you say nothing and still charge, that is very difficult to wrap my brain around. Essentially I paid for my loss and health of hair.
I hate to leave such a bad review but this was/is a very upsetting experience. I feel completely taken advantage of and this salon is in the hands of unperfessionalsm and it's very hard to beleive any of the good reviews are even real.....
I would not recommend going here if you care about your hair at all. They charge top tier prices for low quality work. You're better off leaving it in the hands of your own.
Stylist: Whitney did a highlight. I left with 50% percent of my hair left. The rest was in the bowl.

Andrew was excellent at understanding exactly what I wanted done with my hair and he executed it well. He was personable, professional, and overall kind. I am extremely happy with my hair after going to him. I have stick straight hair with no volume, shape, or texture... that was until I saw Andrew. He gave my hair life, and boosted my confidence just by being amazing at what he does. I would 1000% recommend him to all hair types.
Requested style: I didn't have a specific style but I was leaning towards a wolf cut, but with my stick straight hair I am unable to do that. Or so I thought... Andrew was able to add texture and face framing that brought my hair to life.
Hair type: I have extremely straight hair that doesn't like to hold shape. I cant put layers in it which makes it limited in what it can do.

So happy to have found this salon! After nearly 4 years in Parker, it felt like a breath of fresh air. The space and the staff all feel very proud to be uniquely their own selves. A really cool vibe, and my haircut with Anya was fantastic! She gave me great advice for a low maintenance routine to make my curls shine. Also, I got to say hi to two lovely pups while I in was there! One of the best salon experiences I've had since moving out of Denver proper. I will definitely be returning.

Lizzie saved my hair color and was very flexible with me, which I appreciate! I love that I can fully count on her and her artistic eye to help me achieve my hair goals!
Andrew gave me a haircut that I absolutely loved and was just overall a great hairstylist!
Color House Denver is full of an amazing team and a very welcoming atmosphere! I will be recommending them forever!(:

Color House Denver is out of this world! These crown artists are not only talented but evolved! The compassion that goes into their craft speaks volumes as you're treated with patience and perfection. And it's affordable! Top notch. I walked in a customer and out a friend(s). Giant gratitude.

I typically don’t leave Google reviews, but I had to post one because my experience here was so amazing today. Heather was my stylist - she was so attentive and showed meticulous attention to detail when doing my highlights and trim. I’ve honestly never had any stylist care so much about my hair before, and the results were absolutely stunning! Thank you so much again for taking care of me today!
