Great customer service by Cathy. She was very helpful designing the interior of my office with amazing and stylish furniture. Much appreciated.

We worked with Catherine Reedy and found her to be through, helpful and very knowledgeable. We left with fabric samples, made a decision, and she took care of our order. We mailed sample back after our purchase. Thank you Brad Reed

I went into DWR in Cherry Creek to buy a living room full of furniture. I had already been in Crate and Barrel and Room and Board. In those stores I was welcomed and helped promptly. At DWR, although there were 3 staff members in sight, no one said a word. I got curious about why. As younger people came in, they were helped. It's unfair to draw any conclusion other than it's store in need of a customer service upgrade.

Jacob was very helpful and patient with both of us as we sat in almost every chair in the store. Took the time to explain the different material and options on each piece. We thought the quality of materials was much better than the other stores we went into in the area. Thanks for your help!

We are shopping to furnish a new house, living room, bath, & bedroom. Besides greeting us and telling us to leave our coffees at the table like children there were 4 people working in the store all sitting at their computers only one acknowledged and helped us when I approached them with a question. They didn’t have prices on the majority of their items. They weren’t very approachable and the whole experience was overtly stuffy. I took photos of the products to look it up online because that was easiest. I ended up purchasing the majority of furniture from cb2.

If you go to DWR, you know what to expect. Pretty much every time we come here, the staff have been welcoming and helpful. Almost every time we visit, we end up purchasing a piece from them and largely because of the staff's recommendations. They do a sale on a regular basis - that's the time to buy, if you are going to.

Lol. This is our Julia Roberts/Pretty Woman moment. We remember how DWR treated us (like street trash) when we explored their store for the first time a few years ago. Now we're moving and furnishing our large new home from scratch and let's just say... BIG mistake.

Having never been in the store before, but aware of the brand and its price range, I wandered in. They asked me if I was looking for anything in particular, so I asked to be pointed towards kitchen accessories like mugs, serving boards etc. (which other furniture stores in Cherry Creek have on other floors). One salesperson MY AGE gave their colleague a judgemental look of disgust while that colleague answered. A few moments later I heard sarcastic comments being made and raucous laughter from all five employees at how the associate who deigned to speak to me was "inspiring", apparently for not snarking back to a Foolish Peasant like myself. Joke's on them though, cause I spent about $2500 today at west elm, Cb2, crate and barrel, and parachute...notably all stores that were nice to me and have the common sense not to make fun of potential customers while they are still in the store Oh, also, the design sensibility at DWR is largely generic and booty. I saw soooo many Basic B**** things that looked just like any other store's despite being Designed by Designers. Money can't buy taste but I guess it buys snooty self-importance

The furniture at DWR is wonderful. Our salesperson was helpful. After we purchased a substantial amount furniture the service was truly terrible. There were supply chain issues, of course. However, every month a hold for the full purchase price was briefly and inconveniently placed on the credit card we’d said we’d use. This went on for over 6 months. We tried to make a deposit on the furniture to avoid uncomfortable encounters with rejected a credit card over that 6 month period. DWR won’t do that. After waiting for 6 months for 6 dining chairs we received 3 boxes of 2 chairs each, except one box only had 1 chair, so we waited another 6 months for the last chair. The delivery, for which you pay, was inordinately 1) expensive, and 2) inconvenient. XPO left us a message, telling us, not asking us, when items would be delivered, often within 24 hours of delivery, so there was no time to plan. Sometimes the date was changed at the last minute. We had 3 deliveries, and it was the same each and every time. There was no ability to reach XPO, no phone number, and DWR claims no responsibility. I contrast this with Room and Board; their delivery is planned with you, and you are not told when they’ll come with no discussion, and it’s less expensive. The furniture at DWR is stunning, but I will never, ever purchase anything from this store again. For what it’s worth, this is the first review of a store I’ve ever written. You should be warned though. Lovely, stylish furniture from DWR is not worth the aggravation.

My experience was awesome with these folks. I bought a Herman Miller recliner from them, and I love it. Catherine was super easy to deal with and great with follow-up. Would highly recommend!

I would give no stars if that were an option. Everything around this order was completely messed up from the minute the order was placed. Nobody picks up the phone! XPO Logistics was especially difficult to deal with on the delivery...that never happened. Nobody picks up the phone there either. Worst customer service experience I have ever had. I would absolutely avoid dealing with this store if at all possible.

I ordered a bed frame and no one could tell me when it was arriving. On the date of arrival, the driver called me 15 min. out saying they were going to be there. Their customer service was horrible and didn't know what was going on. Will not be returning there to shop.

Came in for a healthy purchase and Aimee made it fun, timely, and easy. I got exactly what I wanted and she helped me navigate some shipping delays. She is amazing and knows how to please the client. Will definitelywork with her in the future!

I didn't have a great experience with Design Within Reach for the following reasons:1. I was told that the more expensive chair was in inventory and I would have it within two weeks. I went to check in on the order and it turns out that wasn't true and the Account Executive told me a story about their systems etc. that simple didn't add up.2. There was a less expensive model of the chair that the Account Executive didn't tell me about.3. I started recieving junk mail within a week, even though I opted out of such requests. When I brought these items up to the sales team they told me it wasn't their fault and they couldn't do anything to help me. I told them, that with out even a gesture or "Sorry I messed up" I would not shop their again. They really didn't care. I should have went to Herman Miller directly.
