When my daughter needed surgery, we stayed here. Not all people who worked or volunteered here were friendly, but they were very helpful and kind. I'm very grateful that they helped my family, and I will never forget their kindness. They have a wonderful setup, and it was definitely a home away from home. Mostly, I was only there at night while my hubby and Son were there all the time because I was with my daughter during the daytime. What I saw of the place was very nice and clean. I would recommend that family and friends try to stay there if, God forbid, their children are in need of medical attention.

Awesome place! These people have really helped my daughter and her husband in a time of need with their newborn preemie in the NICU. They've provided meals and necessities and the staff are very caring and friendly.

This place was a home away from home. Comfort of being able to do laundry and get a good night's sleep before heading back to the hospital. Took our minds away from money stress and all out focus back on the kiddo. Thankful.

I think the Ronald McDonald experience has meant more to us than simply staying at some random hotel. It means so much to me to he able to talk with other parents who are doing their best for their children.

Overall great experience staying here while our daughter was in NICU. Very grateful this place exists and plan to support RMHC in the future as a thank you.

The manager at this location was the absolute worst. Made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed. We were waiting for my granddaughters ashes and she said you need to be out after you receive them. Keep in mind, we lost our sweet girl born prematurely at 23.4 weeks. This is the safest time of our lives and she was so mean and condescending. Didn’t matter if my daughter had follow up appointments with the drs. All she could say to me was “when are y’all leaving?”

The house that love built, for real. Like someone else said, it’s that great place you never want to be. Grab a calendar for the rotating schedule of provided meals and definitely make use of the community fridges, FYI, there’s one in each kitchen. ? Cheap I am but I never had to visit a grocery store, either. Place is a 7 minute walk from RMHC @ St. Luke’s using High St, I’d recommend the complimentary shuttle from RMHC back to The House after dark. Check out the rules, etc, beforehand, they limit the number of people per room and only one room is allowed per patient. If you do find yourself here, the best shopping area is about 15 minutes to the northeast, think it’s called Quebec Square. They have Walmart, Goodwill, restaurants and more, all in one large area with FREE PARKING. Whatever your situation is, I wish you hope, strength and the unconditional kindness of strangers. God bless.

I had preemie triplets and was lucky enough to stay here and be close to the hospital so I could see them regularly while they were in the Nicu. The staff was pleasant and it was a nice atmosphere. Everyone I ran across was pretty respectful of the other people staying there. If I ever come into a lot of money, I will donate to this organization. It helps so many families going through tough emotional times.
