The auto repair shop in Denver for transmission problems. The team at Cottman was friendly and professional and fixed my Durango transmission issue in a timely and cost effective manner. I wouldn't hesitate using them again or recommending to anyone.

Don't walk run from this place Took my truck after seeing all the awesome reviews. I wanted to be one of those reviews. WRONG. Cottman has screwed me around for almost two years and never fixed my transmission to where I could even drive it for more then a week before the transmission would give out again. after 9 times back and forth to both of their shops I had to tow my truck 23 miles and Cottman wouldn't even arrange a tow I was told within one hour that my misfire was causing my transmission to go out and they would not move ahead with any repair until I fixed my engine and gave me a day before he would start charging me a storage fee. The manager stated that my engine was out oil well what should I say to that? It's not like I have been driving it all over town in reverse. Find a company that honors their hard work. You don't want to go through what I have. These people have no morals. I needed a transmission shop that had some integrity. I have stage 4 cancer and have a hard time even getting to my appointments because Cottman dropped the ball and I am now forced to take public transportation which takes three times as long while my truck sits out in the parking lot waiting for me to magically come up with another 3000.00 dollars which I paid Cottman already for the repair. They are wrong if they expect me to take this loss. I paid them for a repair and if they thought it was my misfire blowing up my transmission they would have said something about it and about my low oil the 7 times I had it in both shops. I was actually dealing with one of the either owners or stock holders Stan and if he don't give a hoot about the bad business decisions I bet no-one does. Can someone say class action? Get a hold of me... I know I am not the only one.

Mason referd me to cottman transmission and a turn of events that Marc got injured and has had a tough recovery, I hope his recovery is a full one.

Cottman transmission had great customer service. They are friendly and knowledgeable. I have seen a handful of reviews say they don't charge for a diagnostic, and this is accurate! If you need an engine or transmission serviced, there is no way around the fact that it will be expensive. This place takes that into account and does not nickel and dime you.

I looked at having my pilot transmission serviced or replaced and he said he could not find parts or a transmission anywhere. But that he did find a used one with 40,000 miles on it and he could do all the work for 6K. I declined to do that and he said I should just sell the vehicle. A few days later, I called the Honda dealership and the parts department said they could easily get me a transmission for around 5k at retail. (Auto shops, get them for cheaper.) the parts guy at the dealership then gave me the name of a shop who would put it in for me. I called him and he said he could do everything for 6K. Thus, I think I found a much better mechanic and won't say much else about this shop.

Being out on the eastern plains of Colorado, there aren't many repair options. When I asked C&T out here about my concerns, they specified Cottmans. 2500hd gasser with Allison. Cottmans was timely and thorough in fixing my truck, acts better than when I first got it.

We broke down and just made it to the shop. They don't work on RV's here but they helped us when no one would. After calling several rv places, dealerships, road side assistance, AAA etc for hours. No one would help us. If it wasn't for this shop our vacation could of been ruined and we would of had to play thousands and stay in a hotel for over a week since other places said they would repair it but had no openings. Not to mention they saved us from a bad accident if we would have kept driving. This shop saved us and made the repair. From laying on the hot asphalt to repair our RV to offering us water. The customer service we received here was beyond the southern hospitality I heard about. The price was extremely reasonable. My family is beyond grateful for this shop.

Cottman Transmission had to do a time-consuming diagnosis on my Subaru’s transmission issue, and did not charge me for it (even when I opted not to go ahead with repair on my older car). Grateful for their high quality work and excellent customer service.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Our almost 20 year old car had a transmission problem. Mark worked so hard to determine the problem and he went well above our expectations to find the part that was needed. This is the second car we have brought to him and we will never go anywhere else!

Cottman Transmission’s on Broadway was recommended to me by a mechanic as reliable and getting the job done and done correctly. I was very reluctant anyway assuming the worst but they ended up doing a wonderful job for me and taking care of a problem that has been nagging my vehicle for quite some time (coming and going) I would recommend them to anybody very fair very forward with everything that they did and very much appreciated. My thanks to Mark and the rest of the people there for having done a wonderful job and very timely much appreciated thanks to all who work there.
