Ms. J/Julia? is an amazing person to have on staff. I locked my keys in my car in the parking lot as a 21 year old woman alone and she kept tabs on me and water/phone/anything I needed readily available for 5 HOURS while I scrambled to find a solution. This business can’t control the community that surrounds it but Ms.J is a great example of PROTECTING it. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have someone like her around in a time of need. Thank you.

Probably the most dangerous place to stop for fuel or McDonald's, in all of Denver. A month ago I was riding my bike on the on the trails and I stopped for a Coke at the Phillips 66. I parked my bike next to the door. Predators were watching and ready as soon as the door closed behind me I could see somebody getting on my bike. I reopened the door but it was already too late the the predator apparently had been ready waiting for an opportunity, jumped on my bike quickly and pedaled away across the street and disappeared behind the storage facility. Despite reporting it to the police and having a tracker on it, last location attached, I've been unsuccessful located it. It's a pretty unique bike it's called a Specialized that's 27.5 inch with disc brakes and has an electric motor on it. I have since familiarize myself with this area. I met 'Lucky' a 55-yo man with medium build smoky gray med beard 5,11 180lb. Lucky is self proclaimed boss of the territory and told me about the organized bike theft in the area , he offered to ask around to try to find the bike. There are several vagrant tents and camps and rvs in the area. Screenshot attached of some of the main camps that I can see. Apparently this is attractive to the Predators because of the convenient access to highway, freight rail, and the extensive bike trail along the river. With all of the Transportation types meeting in this one area it's a hub, and the recycling facility nearby is also a feature. Locals that I speak to seem aware and so does the store owner as well as the employees the McDonald's all of whom Express exasperation and hopelessness. If you absolutely have to stop bring your bike inside. And if you get fuel make sure you lock your car when you go into the store because I've heard quite a bit of activity around snatch and grabs from the cars. The lighter of the two screenshots shows the last location of the bike called Criminal the darker the screenshots show the location of the camps in the area

Kinda scary place at night. Lots of homeless and drugs in the area but not necessarily in the store.

I had to pee really bad and the nice lady upfront let me use their restroom. Really nice people working here. I'm definitely going to fill up my gas here. Doesn't make sense to fill up at a gas station that won't even let you use the restroom.
