I recently spoke with Kailyn R. to inquire about the opening a new account with my Colorado Digital ID - after applying for an account and receiving notification that it required me to go in person. She blatantly lied to me and said it was against “federal law,” when there is no regulation (refer to 31 CFR 1020 “Rules for Banks,”) or policy memo for the Anti-Money Laundering Compliance program stating that state issued digital drivers license do not meet identification standards for new account opening. This is in open disregard to recent memos issued to banks by the City & County of Denver requesting internal policy adjustments to accept digital drivers license and in respect to the State of Colorado requesting businesses adopt acceptance as well. She was incredibly dismissive of me especially when I disputed her claims of there being any federal law or regulation that would prevent a bank from utilizing a state issued digital drivers license as a valid form of identification

They have what it takes to handel your personal and business banking needs. They were exactly what I was expecting from a big bank. Thank you BOK FINANCIAL!

This bank let my dads new wife setup an account for my minor son. She was never the guardian. They never checked and now she's stolen the money from my son. They refuse to help or admit their wrong doing.

Business owners BEWARE! We have a medical practice and were introduced to Peter Smith; Mr. Smith was late to the first appointment and his manager had to call and get him to show up. The alarming part is when discussing our loan options where a business plan is required, Mr. Smith refused to sign a non-disclosure agreement or even provide an email confirming any form of confidentiality with our plan and proposal. I was referred to BOK Financial by a colleague who was trying to help, since then I have found out that Mr. Smith only helps his buddies and has been known to do shady business. Protect yourself and your business and bank elsewhere. On a positive note Mario Valdez did a wonderful job taking care of us and showed what customer service should be, it is unfortunate that Mr. Smith I also spoke with Mr. Smith’s boss who shared a very fake concern while on the phone with Mr. Smith and proceeded to show us exactly where Mr. Smith learned this behavior by lack of follow up and care yet again. This place is definitely not a good business.

Absolutely no customer service. Took a 20% loss on my investment. To close out is an uphill battle. It takes them seconds to lose your money. To get it out of them takes weeks. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Loan officer Bo Brown seemed nice at first. Asked him 10 days before closing if we could move our first payment to the following month. No reply. Asked again 5 days before, nothing. Once they get the paperwork, they are done helping. Now my mortgage is due three weeks after I bought the house. The other two homes that I have bought we have had around 45 days or so. The least he could've done was say "no that's not possible, but instead he decided to ignore me.

By far THE WORST mortgage companies we've ever had to deal with! I have owned homes all my life and NEVER, NEVER had problems with mortgage payments until this company bought the mortgage. We pay the mortgage through our bank on time but the payment is somehow lost in their process and then we get a notice of a past due bill. Of course, they always want to charge us a late fee. Their customer service is nothing more than someone reading a script without bothering to listen to the customer. Our bank informs us when it sends the payment, but BOK always claims they don't have it so it is late. Forget their customer service and try to stay away from this company.

HORRIBLE. Our mortgage switched over to BOK and it's been a nightmare. The last 3 months we have mailed our mortgage payment weeks before the due date and our checks mysteriously disappear to the unknown. Customer service is no help, if you finally get someone to actually speak to before you fall asleep...They tell you to wait another week and maybe it'll show up. It never does. It's as if the checks are mailed to a landfill.

This is probably the most horrible bank I have ever had to deal with....they treat their clients like garbage...it's surprising this day and age they can treat their customers with so much disrespect !

Please do not invest your 401k with this company, it is a complete NIGHTMARE trying to retrieve YOUR money. The way they conduct business is so antiquated it's literally ridiculous. They don't have the ability to submit withdrawal request online or via phone, they still require forms to be mailed...yes it's 2022 half way to 2023 and they still want documents mailed, in which takes an eternity not to mention how unreliable the postal service is. If I ever work for a company again that utilizes BOK for their 401k option I will not participate. I've been separated from my employer for almost 3 months and still haven't received all of MY money.

They charged me $110,000.00 to prepay on a commercial loan!!! Then they didn't remove the lien that was on it. Now I am fighting with them to get that done. Find a better bank to do business with. Then they respond and tell me to call a number that they won't answer. They have my number call me!!!

Came to write a review about how unhappy I am with the fact that they bought my mortgage loan and I see I am not alone. I haven't even made one payment and I am already so disappointed in their lack of communication and service. I too have waited (4 times as of now) for a minimum of 1 hour each time. All I want is my loan number so I can pay my mortgage. -Their system will not allow me to set up an online account without an account number. -I call for that and am on hold an hour or more each time. This is particularly maddening because my job requires I am on my phone most of the day. I can't really make/take calls when I'm stuck on hold which is in turn hurting my business. -I located the email address yet they do not respond either. -I have not received ANY notifications including: Calls, emails, mail, regarding this assumption of my mortgage. I only know because my former company has been more helpful than BOK. Honestly, If I didn't have such a great interest rate, I would refinance just to get out of this company!

awful, awful service. Unless you love 3 hour hold times, do not do business with these folks.

Have been trying for almost 3 months to cash out my 401K- I have submitted every document requested and waited the allotted time (7-10 business days) multiple times. You can only talk to 1 person (there is only 1 phone number) and it's the same person every time, Larielle, who is no help at all, and who is quite rude. Get a different story every single time. No one can help do anything. Have tried multiple numbers found on the internet but they all lead back to Larielle. Terrible company when it comes to getting your own money.

A customer for about 40 years. No credit card debt. "Excellent" credit rating. Past loan history -- multiple loans paid in full and often paid off early. So now, at 68, I requested a small LOC or loan to complete construction on a garage conversion (made more expensive due to pandemic). My only real expense in a mortgage of $281. Tons of equity. I sold my old house and bought this new (accessible) home for one reason only. To convert the garage into a granny pod for me so I could move my developmentally disabled brother (now 65) into the main house with his care team. Between my Social Security and his rent, there would be more than enough money to meet ALL my financial obligations. But BOKF declined request for one reason only...income-to-debt ratio. They will not accept John's rent as income. I am not creating a rental property. This is not about unreliable rental income. John will be the only renter in both of our lives. We have to work out this living arrangement or he will lose his benefits from the state. I would love to be able to just give him the (finally) safe and healthy home environment, but I don't happen to have the $18.8 million in net worth that Mr. Bradshaw has. I expected loyalty. I expected flexibility. I expected trust. I got squat. They did offer a much smaller amount, but with one of two contingencies...either pay off credit card debt - of which I have none...or they would pay off the construction costs upon completion of the build. And that's simply not how that works. No GC would agree to that. I have pulled my account a(which, BTW, at the time of my application I had $30,000+ in my account), and will be pulling my brother's trust next year.
