Civic Center Park is a pleasant and beautiful park between the state capitol and county center. It is really cleaned up, with lots of benches and grass area for a picnic or a peaceful stroll. It is a dog-friendly place with plenty of room. The park hosts community events like the amazing Sober Rally, which offers great resources. Volunteers help in lovely gardens that supply food to the community. However, it is also a gathering for vagrant people and there can be rats and disturbed individuals. The available restroom is a tad odd, with just a curtain.
