The only thing worth the one star here is the maintenance. We moved in last April on a 14 month lease. Regret set in around the third month and has only gotten worse since.Starting before we ever even moved in (mind you we moved from the other side of the country so had been driving for three days), upon arrival they did not have the original apartment that our lease was signed to ready so they had to switch our apartments. Because of this we had to move around utilities, which ended up costing us extra. We dealt with the loss and moved on. Fast forward about a month or so, our AC breaks. For three months our AC was down during the hottest part of the year. We have a dog that lives in the home. They gave us two portable ACs, both with a cooling range of only 300-400 sq ft. Easy math can tell you that this will not cool a nearly 1200 sq ft apartment. After months of no updates, beating around the bush, and sitting in an apartment that would at times reach 90 degrees for three months, they finally replaced our compressor. This lasted for a total of two months before breaking again so we just gave up on it and bought box fans to put in the windows.Upon moving in, we noticed that the garage door did not close. So as we paid $100 a month each to park in this garage, cars were getting broken into left and right, including ours…thus another out of pocket expense. Parking garages are known to be among the most dangerous places at night so as a bartender and woman that works nights it’s hard for me to understand why there have not been cameras placed in the garage. I don’t and won’t even get started on the parking situation with the garage. The final BIG kicker, and regardless of whether there is any truth to anything this girl said or not this should speak volumes about the energy of this complex…not once but TWICE a girl claiming to be employed by the leasing office came beating on our door, and the second time even trying to kick the door in while she was drunk, claiming that we were being too loud. We were literally walking around our apartment after getting home from work. She tried pushing her way through the door, claiming she wanted to “fight” us. After messaging the office about this, they only responded with “we will handle it” and never heard anything else. This is when we really started to understand that they could care less about their residents and are only worried about getting people into vacant apartments. I will say after the second time I brought this up to them, they reached out to me a couple of times trying to mend the situation but it’s way too far gone at this point. The quality of living has so drastically decreased since moving here I don’t really even feel safe walking my dog alone at night anymore. A few days ago I was walking to the dog park and a man and woman were in their vehicle nodded off, assuming drug related since he was slumped on the steering wheel three feet from the back door of his apartment. A few weeks ago I was trying to enter the garage and the woman in front of me sat for about 2-3 minutes trying to simply type in her code, which I quickly realized was again a person under the influence of god knows what. She finally manages to type her code in to only then drive up the ramp and into the wall of the parking garage, then flooring the gas into the wall, tires spinning, then attempts to reverse and almost backs into my vehicle. Trash is constantly piling up, though the last couple of weeks that seems to finally have been taken as a priority. It’s quite disgusting to look at. Luckily we have done our time in this prison and will be moving on in a few weeks, but because we accidentally forgot to put our notice to vacate in a measly week or so late, they are desperate enough to charge us for that as well as all of the suspect charges that seem to increase each month making the rent over an extra $200-$300 a month. And no this does not include electricity nor internet. “Community fees”. I’m not saying walk away from this complex, I’m saying run away from this heap.

Horrible experience living here. Change in management horrible upkeep and amenities. The company constantly tries to scam you. Get ready for random fees that will raise your rent by over $200 a month. 60 day notice for leaving the building.

Upper management is very difficult to deal with. Leasing office can only do so much. After having a ton of complaints/issues here non-stop since I moved in September 2022 I would’ve thought they’d be more accommodating. I also had packages stolen for the passed several months and they aren’t willing to take any ownership. I have a disability and gave them a reasonable accommodation request to end the lease early and they aren’t legally accommodating. The reviews are true about this place. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

Alyssa helped me out and showed me around the whole place with such hospitality and charm. She was so pleasant and just really sold me on living here. Good space and good vibes. The gym looks pretty sweet too!Only slight downside of my tour experience --and it's a VERY slight sidenote; I'm really not trying to be mean -- was that I noticed a fairly remarkably bad smell coming from Alyssa each time a light breeze came through. She was SO SWEET though and I didn't think it was appropriate to mention anything, but I do think it could be addressed just to make the experience overall PERFECT!

I've had the worst luck with apartments, my last apartment flooded and I needed to move asap. Alyssa toured me and got me moved in that week! A complete life saver. Can't wait to check out the night life around here and the food. Zeppelin station is right down the street and that is my go to! Also only place I've toured with free parking for visitors, huge plus!

Honestly I love this place! They have the best resident events they had a breakfast to go with chic fila! Alyssa was the best and helped me figure out my go to coffee drink. (Mocha latte with a shot of vanilla) sooo good! Also my apartment is huge for a studio, it even has an island!

CityGate management apparently encourages its impound partner to aggressively tow without notice, my partner was towed while loading his skis with full intention to move his vehicle, and two days later I was towed because my parking pass happened to fall to the floor of the car. If you have a car I would recommend you rent elsewhere that has a more tenant friendly way of tracking their parking accountability or does not esteem their towing partners over the experience of their tenants. Can't wait to move out.

This apartment complex is in such a great area! The rooms are nice too. I got a tour from Karla Hawk she was so welcoming and helpful. I would recommend her to anyone who is interested in leasing.

I was interested I'm information on this property. When I walked in I was shocked with how beautiful it was. The front desk was so generous and helpful. They also had the manager Shardnae come speak with me. She was knowledgeable, kind and respectful. I can't wait to start my journey at this property!

Alyssa helped me with a tour here and she was amazing. She helped me with all of my questions (which I ask a lot of) and she was so kind. I’ll know who to call when we decide to make the big move!

Finishing up my first lease here and couldn’t be happier. I especially want to commend Shardané’s promptness, professionalism, and consideration whenever I had a problem. I felt extremely taken care of during my time here, and would definitely recommend to others.

The manager has made a lot of improvements throughout the property since Greystar took over. There's security on all the doors and all the residents events the property does are nice! The most recent breakfast on the go was great to have. Thanks Shar and the team for all you do.
