I have been here 3 times and have had 1 good experience. Considering I am only in a liquor store to get what I need and leave, that reflects poorly on the staff and rules they try to enforce.

If you are a local, do not shop here, they don't care.
Sorry for having to write this in my own neighborhood but ya'll do not treat people with respect. You fail to make a concerted effort to recognize your locals and the business seems to have been traumatized in the past for stealing and they pass that trauma back on to their patrons.

Absolutely horrible people at the door. I stopped by while downtown and I was treated very disrespectful. The bigger lady with light colored hair and glasses and a black man demanded and did not ask me to put my box somewhere. What they said made no sense. I set my box down and went to the register. The guy at the register was a doll. So nice and friendly. After my purchase I turned to leave and one of two people at the door physically touched, picked up and moved my box while my back was turned. Who would not be upset by thus? Who does that? When I said something both became rude like I did something wrong to them. Then they both yelled and made smart comments while I was leaving. I did not deserve to be treated like this. With all the businesses struggling downtown why would you make you guests feel violated and not welcome. Do better!!! Shame on you!!!

I have been here twice now and have had an awful experience both times so I will not be coming back. First time I came in with a clear bottle of water and the cashier (white lady) told me I could not drink water in the store. I feel bad for the workers because surely they can't drink water in the store either and must get pretty thirsty. Second time just occurred. Two of my coworkers and I went in today at lunch to get a bottle of wine. Upon first walking in, we had to leave all food and drinks on a barrel. I have never had to do this at a liquor store in my life. The next thing that occurred was I set a bottle on the check out counter to read the ingredients and the cashier (asian guy) jumped on my case. Pretty sure I am more likely to drop the bottle holding it than I am to set it on the counter. This left me further confused where people set bottles when they are checking out. Once we decided to check out, my coworker put his valid Texas government issued verticle ID card and his government issued license to carry card on the counter (not sure if this was allowed either). The cashier told him that neither card was acceptable and told him to leave the store. I then had to purchase the drinks myself so I tossed my ID out of my wallet onto the counter and grabbed my credit card. The cashier told me if I was going to have an attitude and throw my card at him that he wasn't going to serve me. I 100% did not throw my card at him. I thought he was joking so I tried to tap my card to pay and he grabbed the bottle and walked off and told me to get out of his store. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly at a store and would encourage everyone to get their liquor somewhere else.

I came in today with my son, had backpack she told me to leave it at the front doors! I asked if I can leave by the cashier spot! She told me nope!
Than she said there is no eating or drinking in the store! She seemed very overwhelmed with sales people in her store! (I know he asked for a check RNDC)
Honestly
I get treat more friendly treatments at The Argonaut wine and liquor. Please shop there if you are looking for a friendly place to shop

Only gave 1 star because I couldn't leave 0. This place is terrible. Got called homeless even though I'm not. Definitely not scooter friendly. Told me to leave it outside. I expressed my concerns about it getting stolen, but the lady insisted I do it anyway. Also, very rude about it. Don't waste a dime here

Do NOT give them your business. The manager wouldn’t let a customer in the store because he was carrying a Target bag… (Target is literally right next door and he had just bought some things there). It seemed like she was racially profiling him - the guy with the Target bag was black. She called security and refused to sell to both him and myself (I was just a bystander…). The other employees did nothing. It was disgusting behavior and all of the employees who were part of this or bystanders should be replaced.

One of the most disgusting and unprofessional experiances i have ever had in this entire city. i came in and purchased some grape flavored shots. There was 2 employees behind the counter. As they were grabbing the product i asked for, they started joking with eachother about how they wanted to.... "grape" eachother. Remove the "G" if youre somehow struggling to understand why this is inappropriate.
It wasnt just one off-hand comment either, they continued making jokes about how they wanted to "grape" eachother the entire time i was being rang up.
The employees in question were on duty on april 4th, between 5:30pm and 6:30 pm.
I would highly encourage the owner to rethink hiring people who think sexual assault is a funny joke.
If you are a woman you should avoid shopping here at all costs.

Staff are incredibly rude here and prices are marked up much higher than other liquor stores. I won’t come back.

Good selection of CO beers, (they were appropriately cold and priced, despite other reviews, if you want big Bev there’s other stores around, and I’m from CA so pricing was normal).
Downstairs in the complex,
Only downside was not a big selection of snacks…

Oddly creepy. Was escorted in by a door person and double ID checked. Thats about all I can recall of the place. Also high prices. Standard for this city??

The prices are outrageous, some wines are double the price of elsewhere. Most are easily 50% more than others. Good selection but it’s hard to stomach the price gouging.

On 12-19 I went to this store to buy something. Price was marked $7.99 + tax. I was then charged $9.54 +tax. When I pointed out the discrepancy I was asked to leave. I told them it's not the $, it's that fact that of marking on price & charging another is called bait& switch. Then some fool comes frm the back and says he will call security if I don't leave. Security was more reasonable than the store staff. They were arrogant, non customer svc, and racist. I say racist cause I was just asking for the price that was on the shelf. Which is my right. How come when a black man asks for something that IS his right to ask for suddenly it's a problem!
