I’ve tried to take my kids swimming here twice now, during “open hours.” However, both times the pool was undergoing maintenance or the slide wasn’t working. Super frustrating

It was our first visit so admission was free. This place was clean spacious and bright there was premium exercise equipment thought the facility. We came for the pool which was large child friendly and very clean. Even the lap pool was very child friendly as it has spots for children to sit in the water while you swim laps. Over all probably the cleanest and best rec center pool in the state of Colorado. Would return!!!

First day at this facility, wonderful spot. I’ve worked at for 3 years a Carl Madison and Swansea rec! Both good spots. This is next level for Denver rec.

I go water walking every weekday with my friends. We arrive at 6:30 am. The lifeguards take their job seriously: attentive, consistent and friendly. The front desk is very welcoming. I’ll miss Sam who was let go because of budget cuts. My husband and I have attended two senior luncheons which were delicious and enjoyable. In addition, I attend the Grands quilting group twice a month. Years ago I took our granddaughter to tots swimming for 1.5 years and now she swims like a dolphin. The lockers rooms are large and clean with built in locks. The showers have nice hot water. There are 2-3 family rooms for showering and dressing. I feel so grateful to have this facility in Central Park. I hope there will not need to be any more budget cuts. Bravo!

The worst customer service in the rec center system. The two women who are in charge yell at people. One woman followed a customer around the weight room yelling at her to put her mat away as she stepped away for a drink of water. I'm not over exaggerating. I called City of Denver Guest Relations to let them know of that incident. Most of the staff are unwelcoming, rude, and unhelpful. This is unfortunate as I have been going to this rec center for many years and even gave it 5 stars. I gave it another year and the change in staff and supervisor have made this place uncomfortable and anger driven.
There is a male "trainer" who is super creepy. I asked about his background and was told he has no professional training as a personal trainer and this person went on to say he only requests younger women to "train." Super creepy and this rec center allows this behavior.

Very nice location with a great view of the Rockies from the top floor cardio equipment. Basketball court, child care, classes, cardio/weight room, and a pool (currently closed).I'm only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the weight room needs to be expanded. There are always people waiting for equipment and not enough free space, so it can be hard finding a spot to workout without being right on top of someone else.

Denver’s Central Park Recreation Center is a hidden gem. It is a gorgeous facility that offers all sorts of activities for the mind, body and soul.I was introduced to the center through a meeting in the Multi-Purpose room. Visiting the center was an eye opener. There is ample parking in covered spaces. The layout of the facility is open and inviting with enough exercise equipment available to eliminate fear of waiting. Last, but not least, the staff is warm and helpful.
