Sold me bald tires on a 34K truck. Claimed they were within their limits and they met their standards. I had to spend another $1000 to get new tires in six months. Non-negotiable. I found that disappointing and cheap. Otherwise, fairly seamless experience, but you can tell they offer less and less quality for their customers. Third vehicle my family has bought from here, but probably the last.

I would’ve probably had a lower review but Carlos in service did an amazing job of taking care of all our issues and making sure I was 100% happy. Recommend.

CarMax is great. We have bought vehicles twice now from them. The first time, we had a trade-in and they gave us a generous appraisal for the car we were trading. The second time, we had trouble getting a clear title for the vehicle purchased. CarMax worked tirelessly to resolve the issue. When they could not, they traded us for a better version of the vehicle we bought and reimbursed us $2k!
The no hassle pricing, generous appraisals, friendliness of the staff, responsiveness and attention to detail will definitely send me back to CarMax the next time I need a vehicle.

Best Car buying experience, That I need to share. I went to trade in my car and receive more $ than I expected. Then I decided to buy a less expensive car to save on monthly expenses. I really liked the used car however after driving for a week and having a Maintence check I made a decision to return-within their 10 day guarantee. I was nervous when I went in and explained I just needed a safer car. They were very understanding and didn’t even question my reasoning. I picked out my second used car and was very happy with this decision. I took to my mechanic for a “used car review” and they found two minor issues. Car Max paid for the analysis and paid to fix it. Everyone at Car Max was Amazing, caring and professional. I would buy from them again and again. They get a 5 star, I would give them more if I could. Another mention was German my sales person was fantastic. 💯

Took my 24 colorado to them for an appraisal and they offered me a great deal ( more than 2 k from other buyers) process was simple, transparent and super easy, 30 minutes later I got my check, they even offered to pay my ride so I didn’t have to spend that money myself, great company and great people to deal with

It is rare to find customer service which exceeds expectations but CarMax did just that! From sales, to front office, to phone calls, to mechanics, everyone went above and beyond. Thank you CarMax for not only getting us a great car but giving us a great experience!

I had a great experience at CarMax. I was helped by Will through the whole process. What impressed me the most was that one of the technician accidentally made a small scratch on the door. They let me know they had made the scratch and that they would fix it. I feel like most places would say it was already there and not fix as I did not notice until he pointed it out. I also wanted to say I was impressed at Will's responsiveness. He would call or text me answers to my questions and concerns. I also really enjoyed using the CarMax 24 hour test drive. It gave me the opportunity to really check out the car before buying.

Whatever you do, never finance through Carmax Auto Finance instead find a private bank or credit union to finance your auto loans from Carmax. Carmax Auto Finance is a scam, bad rates and terrible at what they do.

We found the perfect car, even though it wasn't the make and model we'd went looking for. Everything was great except for the last moments. After signing, we were then told the powertrain warranty was not 10 years, as promised, but only 5 years. When handed the single key, we asked where the second key was. We were surprised when told there was only one key and we'd have to buy a second one. I've purchased 20+ vehicles and never nor got a second key...left a bad taste in my mouth. Could cost an additional $200-400

Dominic was so professional to the core. I did not feel stressed out when l got to the venue. There were no tonnes of paper to sign but every information was on the computer. That was my favourite part. I had little insurance issue and he was so quick to recommend one. Never knew financing a car was that easy. Dominic and every staff at carmax, may l say thank you for all you do.

This was my first time using CarMax. There was a long delay with a title issue that was finally resolved. I wouldn't have been too concerned if they had notified me sooner rather than leaving the status as arrived nut not ready to test drive.

I ordered a car to be shipped to me, and after waiting two weeks, the sales rep started texting me to come to the dealership—during a snowstorm, no less. I made an appointment for 3 PM, expecting the car to be ready when I arrived. Instead, I walked into an empty showroom with five salespeople just standing around.
After waiting, someone finally decided to look for the car, only to discover they had lost the keys! I texted the sales rep asking for the district manager, but I still haven’t received a response.
Eventually, they found the keys, but when I checked the car, it was completely unsafe to drive. The dashboard was lit up with error messages like a Christmas tree.
