Capital Heights Pharmacy is the best pharmacy I’ve ever used!! In the past I’ve always used CVS and depending on the area I’ve lived in it was mostly okay. Mostly. I moved to Congress Park a year and a half ago and at first stuck with the CVS in the area just because it was familiar. Well, that location had some issues, so I figured I’d give Capital Heights a try, having heard only great things about their service. I have only ever been blown away by the kindness and care everyone there shows me and my family. I’ve worked a lot with Olive & Jess and they are both just fantastic at what they do! Capital Heights is definitely the place to get your prescriptions if you want to get individualized care with a heart! I can’t recommend there services more highly!

I’ve frequented Capitol Heights since the later 90’s.What a terrific place with great staff for our Congress Park neighborhood. So grateful to have it/them at the end of my street!!Pam

Capitol Heights Pharmacy refused to fill my prescription. When I spoke with Sage, she told me it was because the reimbursement from my insurance didn't cover the entire cost and therefore it was not "worth it" from them to fill it. I would urge anyone, but especially the LGBT+ community, to avoid Capitol Heights Pharmacy. They don't care about us. I've been taking this medication for over 10 years and this is the first pharmacy that has ever had an issue like this.

We love this pharmacy! They work with you on medicine shortages and are super helpful. We previously used a big box chain nearby, and they were a NIGHTMARE. Such a difference at Capitol Heights!

Review for the pharmacy:Calls go straight to a pharmacy worker, not someone at a corporate call center. I had an issue with medication due to a manufacturer change. I thought there would be more regulation on how medications are manufactured? Anyways, this pharmacy was ready and laid out clear path forward to get my issue resolved. The staff here is always kind and friendly too.

I switched to this pharmacy after having several issues with my children’s RX’s at a chain pharmacy and I couldn’t be happier. Having two kids with medical needs, I now don’t have to worry about them running out of their RX’s. And the staff is always caring and friendly. I’m also glad I can support a locally owned business vs a chain.

This is hands down the best pharmacy I have ever used. The staff is incredibly friendly, patient and helpful. There's really no comparison between the service you get here vs other big name pharmacies in the area. Also it has a full liquor store? Incredible. I cannot recommend this place enough. Shop local my friends.

I can’t say enough good things about Capital Heights Pharmacy! Tucked away in the back of a local liquor store, that also carries an array of local products, this pharmacy is a hidden gem. From the moment you walk in, the pharmacy staff treats you like family, always knowing you by name.What really sets this place apart is their genuine care. They always go above and beyond.And what really resonates with me is their inclusive and non-judgmental atmosphere. They foster a safe environment, which is both refreshing and comforting to see in a healthcare setting.If you’re looking for a pharmacy where you’re more than just a prescription number, look no further.

This is the best pharmacy ever!! Amazing staff who always takes care of your needs…I can get ginger ale and crackers when someone is sick and beer and chips when I’m having people over..also a great spot for local products. A great asset to the neighborhood!

I’m so glad I stopped going to Walgreens and started going here. They almost always have my meds in stock, and if they don’t, they have them the next day. No lines, easy pickup, and friendly staff. I also love being able to buy local products in the rest of the store while I’m there.

Without exaggeration this is the best pharmacy I have ever been to in my entire life. Navigating medical stuff can be anywhere from a hassle to a nightmare, and the team here makes the process so much easier. The pharmacists are incredibly kind as well as extremely competent and knowledgeable-- highly recommend!
