I was with a place that fixed my cars for 30years. They sold the shop and I was not comfortable with the new owner. I would drive by Bill’s on my way home from work and I decided to give them a try. The first impression when I walked in was this is a family owned repair shop. I felt like I had be there for years. Very friendly and knew exactly what I was taking about when telling them what was going on with my car. They fixed my car and text me and asked how it was doing. I am very please and happy with Bill’s They are very good and have very skilled mechanics. Thank you for being part of my family.

Nice folks. Listened to my concerns. Attention to detail and well executed. I will be returning for basic preventive services as well as specialized needs. A go to.. if you have an older model car that's warrants an old school mechanic/technician.

I have gone to Bill's 4 times since February. The first time was to have them give a car I was going to drive full time the once over, and an oil change. When I called to make an appointment I was surprised that the service writer read back word for word everything I said. The second visit was a new battery.Third was to make sure my undercarriage was okay from driving over an island ?Fourth was for a new starter.I have had the best experience with them, and overhead conversations while waiting at how well they treat their other customers.

Great service. I thought the price of tire rotation was too high, double what I’ve paid in the past. I’ll certainly take my car to you again for upcoming maintenance, but I’ll shop for better prices first.Services: Tire rotations

Arranged service for a lifter tick - person at Bill's assured me they do these often. They called me at work and said I needed struts and before doing so, I had to pay them 1/2 to start. I foolishly agreed. When I picked up my car, they did not fix the lifter tick and ruined my steering alignment. Cost me hundreds to repair.Lying a$$holes. Do not trust. Do not bother. Avoid at all costs. If there was a 'zero' rating, they would earn it.

Highly recommend this small business service. The staff is very friendly and welcoming to your auto repair needs. Taking care of their customers needs at a fair price with great service.

Brought my vehicle in for an inspection. Ended up getting a call saying my vehicle was damaged while being looked at. They damaged my rear bumper a one taillight. They said they would replace it but have not done anything. I haven't gotten one call since they did this. I've been waiting months now and still no effort has been made to make this right. .I wouldn't recommend this shop by any means! Be careful.

I g had my 1998 toyota in last week because my drivers door handle wasn't working . I had the same car in 2 or 3 years ago for the same problem I was charged about $80 diagnostic fee and the estimate was $280to get it fixed total. I didn't have that much an decided to keep it with the jury rigged handle. Last week I thought can now afford it this time the diagnosis was $209 and the estimate was over $1000 so I decided hat was way too high. When I was there they did a "complimentary check of every thing which I really didn't want. One thing they said was I needed a radiator pressure check . When I drove it a day or so later it overheated and steam etc. When I checked the cap was loose . Also the. Door panel wasn't properly reattached (the handle wasloose) when I called to complain the woman was very argumentative she said they didn't loosen the cap and was very bullheaded about any responsibility for the loose door handle. She further stated that the diagnostic fee is now dictated that they match the competition when I told her I have worked in two different garages and I thought the free was like inflation on steroids. She continued to repeat everything and was totally unprofessional on her customer service and seemed to care less that I have been a customer fo20 years and have 3 carsthat. I almost always take there. I really didn't want a refund or even a offer to tighten th handle. I will be looking for a new shop. Its also my understanding the long time owner. BILL PROBST MAY NO LONGER BE IN CHARGE.Service: Auto maintenance

Deanne was great at keeping me informed every step of the way as progress was being made getting parts and doing the repair. Thanks Guys!

I had the ever-fun Check Engine light come on in my car a few weeks ago. After checking the code and replacing a evap valve it remained on. I took my car (a Dodge Charger) to Bill's Crestmoor and they took a look and did a full safety inspection. They I had the car back (with no Check Engine light on) in a day. Bill's Crestmoor Automotive was VERY easy to deal with, exceptionally professional, friendly and courteous. Bill's Crestmore will be my new go-to place for mechanical issues from now on.

They charged me for an extra diagnostic $179, that had nothing to do with my vsc light turning on and my car slowing down on me, and I paid because I thought that would be the reason for my vsc light. Then they gave me an estimate after the inspection they did; to replace my manifold gasket, spark plugs, drain plug, and pcv valve for over $3000! So I called the Lexus dealership to ask them their prices to get some more estimates and they quoted me around $1000 for labor and parts (everything). I called bills crestmoore that is not a dealership to ask them why their prices cost more than my cars (Lexus) dealership and they told me that's just what they charge. venessa harden the receptionist at (bills crestmoore automotive) said to me that they "had lower and more reasonable prices than most mechanic shops, after I asked her if she charged normal or higher prices. she said "that's what customers tell her". Complete lie and because I'm a woman they tried to rip me off, I'm glad I called the real Lexus dealership and asked them, Lexus does not do that to there customers. I own 2 businesses and I could never imagine ripping them off, and treating them stupid. I would advise to not go to bills crestmoore automotive, especially if you are a woman they tried rip me off by charging a high overly price way more than the Lexus dealership. I'm really disappointed like I said as a business owner I like to make sure I treat my clients like family, and always charging reasonable prices, I do not judge or upscale based on how someone looks or their gender, it's sad I had to deal with this. All in all, I got everything fixed and went to grease monkey they told me my vsc light turns on because my mass air flow sensor was damaged and needs to be replaced. As a woman go to a trustworthy who mechanic who will not rip you off and treat you like crap. Also call your dealership before agreeing to bills crestmoore automotive prices.

Upon contacting Bills, they were very friendly and said they were familiar and capable of working on old cars. However they performed work which I did not authorize or need. Eg. they replaced wiper blades which I already replaced the week prior. They claimed they were really shabby. I authorized them to change the oil pan gasket & rear main seal(because it was leaking oil) Engine still leaks oil. I authorized a tune-up. They said I needed an intake manifold gasket, so had to remove carburetor. I did not receive a call on this. They did it on their own. In replacing the carb, they did not hook up vacuum hoses correctly. I now have no automatic choke. They told me this car just doesn't like the cold weather & I just needed to jam a screwdriver into the mouth of the carb to keep the choke in place & wait till fully warmed up to operate vehicle. When fully warmed the vehicle now has a very high idle & will go 25 mph without even stepping on gas pedal. Also gas mileage has fallen from 20 mpg to 5 mpg. When picking up car, it would not even start, even though it just had a fresh tune-up. Hard to imagine spending $3900 & have the car running worse upon receipt! Don't take your car here.Services: Battery service

I submitted a review on 2/1/2023. The following is an update to that . Chris (the owner of Bills automotive) was away when my car was being serviced. Upon her return she was dismayed that things had gotten so far out of hand regarding my car. Long story short; she offered to give me a generous partial refund in order to make things right. I was both relieved & grateful for this of course& therefore would like to upgrade my rating of this establishment to 4 out of 5 stars.
