1205 W Byers Pl B, Denver“Had a stuck through axle in a mountain bike front wheel. My mechanic friend couldn’t budge it. Told me I needed to drill it out which would have compromised the shock and wheel. Thought I was going to have to spend more than $1,000 to replace the shock and wheel. Mechanic at this shop fixed in 30 minutes for $60 and saved my season. Couldn’t recommend the mechanics at this shop any more.”
“Mike's Bikes in Downtown Denver always has amazing service and friendly staff. They turn work around fast and have never done less than a perfect job for me.”
“This is MY neighborhood bike store, and I absolutely adore it. The staff is super awesome and kind. I got my e-bike's brake pads replaced and received helpful tips for what I should look out for as I continue putting miles on it. Whenever I stop for coffee, I bring my tumbler; you get a discount when you bring your own container!! The gather & chill community vibes here are immaculate! They host a Saturday morning bike ride every month; it is an excellent opportunity to check out the beautiful Sloan's Lake Park on bike!!”

Zach was absolutely fantastic. I asked if he could change my road tires to the new gravel tires I brought in. He did great work and went above and beyond. Highly recommend this place!”
“Had a great experience at Base Camp. Walked in just looking around and found several things I had on my wishlist and a few things I didn't know were a thing that is now on my wishlist. Staff was helpful, friendly, and seemed well informed on all things cycling. I will definitely be coming back.”

860 N Broadway, Denver“I waited to write this review as I wanted to ski a few days in my new set up prior to sharing my experience.I had been skiing on 20+ year old set up from play it again sports that I bought when first moving to Denver. After 3 seasons in those boots, I had enough of the pain. I booked an appointment in February and they were booked til March (makes sense in peak ski season). I signed up for the regular boot fitting.Upon arrival, I was greeted by Gordy at the check-in desk. He ended up taking me to a different room in the building next-door as it was super busy in the retail store. Gordy then sat me down and asked me if I wanted a beer since they are sponsored by 805 brewing. Thinking it'd be rude not too, I said hell yeah.Gordy asked all about my skiing experience prior to taking any measurements. He seemed genuinely interested in improving my skiing and making me more comfortable in some boots. He asked to see what bindings I currently ran, and when I showed him a picture, he informed me that my outdated bindings were not going to work well withe newer boots. On top of that, he said they were probably next in line for becoming indemnified and explained how my skis were system skis. He went on to explain that a new set-up was probably a wise decision based on the factors above. So I ended up asking for a whole new set-up.Having a high-volume foot with high arches and scrunched toes, finding shoes that fit has always been hard. Gordy took some measurements and told me that only a few boots are going to fit my feet. He brought out three pairs and I tried each of them on. After standing in various poses, walking around, and discussing the features of the boot, he worked with me to find the most comfortable pair. After heat molding the liners, he worked with me to determine where they needed to be punched out. After the boots were taken care of, we went over to the computer to look at skis. He showed me a variety of skis and explained how they'd react to a person of my size (6'6" and 295lbs) and skill level (intermediate). He was geeking out over the K2 99ti mindbenders and told me that this was the ski for me. He stressed how the ski, paired with the stiffer boots, would help me have more control at higher skis and overall help me improve my skiing. They were already having an end of season sale, and although they weren't in-stock at this location, Gordy asked the manager if I could still get the extra 15% promo they were running for in-stock skis. So I got these skis for almost 1/2 off MSRP.I never felt like I was getting pushed into a decision or oversold. As someone who didn't know much about the difference in skis, I left there with a bunch of knowledge thanks to Gordy. After skiing in the new set up, I could not have been happier. The boots are very comfortable, and the skis performed far beyond my expectations. I'll be coming back with any ski needs.”

1060 Bannock St, Denver“Absolutely incredible bike fitting experience; Charles can talk about the body as astutely as he can talk about bikes. For context I am attempting the full iron man. I left his fitting not only knowing more about my body and its tendencies on and off the bike, but I was given AAA knowledge on what types of bikes would work best for me. After I came back with my bike, Charles transformed what would normally be a mid range daily driver capable of doing 112 miles in the Iron Man, into a machine that I feel that I myself will be able to accomplish the full 112 miles on. After my fitting, James took the time to go over features of my bike I would have never discovered otherwise as well as impeccable tips on how to maintain the bike and keep it in tip top shape. He dialed in my bike in a way that allowed me to feel like I was perfectly at home on my bike. I couldn't imagine attempting the Iron Man without this. When the time comes to fit myself for a mountain bike, I won't even consider any other shop in town. An absolutely flawless experience that exceeded all expectations I had.”
“? Approximately ten days ago, I visited this establishment and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The team here is very welcoming and incredibly supportive. Not only do they offer expert bike repairs, but they also provide educational workshops that cover bike repair techniques, understanding different bicycle models, the unique tools? needed for bike assembly/disassembly, and the intricacies of various bicycle parts and components.
?I’d like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Laurie A., Molly, and Charlotte for their exceptional assistance in locating the necessary components for my bicycle. Their dedication to service was evident as they helped me identify the correct parts and showed me the tools required for the installation process on my bike.
?♂️ When it comes to taking care of any and all of my bicycle servicing, this shop is my first stop on my list . I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to experience the outstanding services offered at this shop.
?Also...i want to give a special thanks to Bikes Together for the countless hours, comprehensive services, patience, and diligent efforts invested to make sure our bicycles are in prime condition ?♂️, secure and safe for riding, and to assist those who are interested in getting the right bike. ✨️? ✨️”

They did it at no charge dropped off last night and picked it up today. Any other place would’ve charged me at least something for filling up the air these guys are awesome!!”
“They hooked me up with a new rim and changed-over my still-working tire, tube, and cassette in less than 20 minutes, giving me time to squeeze in a much-needed ride on one of the last good weather days of the week! ?? Fantastic service.”

“Great bargain & sales team. One service guy was having a bad day & should have stayed off the floor but this was also the weekend they moved he could have been overwhelmed. I did/do love my purchase. It’s in for initial safety check now but I felt confident in my initial service appointment.”
