We absolutely love AELC! Both of our kids have attended there for the past few years and they have learned and grown so much. The staff and teachers are all so incredible and loving with the kids - my kids run inside at drop off, and usually don't want to leave when we pick them up! Aside from the amazing people, the space is also top notch- ratios are excellent, natural sunlight is in abundance, and they have multiple playgrounds with a big gym area inside. They are great about taking them outside multiple times a day and really get to know each student. We are so lucky and blessed our kids have been able to attend this wonderful daycare and highly recommend to others, really doesn't compare to other schools.

We were lucky enough to get a spot for my 3 year old son in October when we moved here from the south. This place is amazing!!! Everyone is very nice and professional. My son loves going everyday and has learned so much! I’m so happy that he has one more year until he starts kindergarten to go here. Ms. Leah is amazing and the sweetest.

Grateful to have had 4 years of care at AELC. Could not be more pleased with the program, philosophy, love and care of the teachers and ALL staff members, connection with the Auraria students, and diversity of the students and staff. Shedding a tear that we'll be growing out, but grateful for the time we had and has set both our boys up for success in elementary school!

We have had two of our children attend AELC and have nothing but good things to say! Our youngest really struggled to adapt to a different preschool in the area, to the point we had to pull him out. I communicated our previous experience to the AELC leadership ahead of him starting there, and the entire AELC team supported him every step of the way. He is now thriving in preschool and we couldn’t be more grateful for the love and support our entire family has received. Thank you AELC; we are all blessed to have been a part of the AELC family!

Our experience at AELC has exceeded our expectations in nearly every way. In the Denver ecosystem where early learning childcare wait lists are three years out, prices are insane and you’re often stuck choosing between price and quality, AELC is a stand out rare find. Our one-year-old has received incredible care from wonderful, highly-engaged teachers - and as parents, we’ve felt consistently informed and closely connected. The teacher-to-student ratio for our child’s age group (4 to 10) is impressively high, far beyond what is required by state regulations, and something you don’t often see in Denver. The amount of attention and care our son received while at school is something we saw directly impact his overall demeanor, development and growth. The curriculum impressed us too. AELC goes above and beyond in education—definitely more than we expected, in a great way. And the fact that AELC provides high-quality nutritious made-on-site meals 2x day - and provides snack - was an incredible help and weight off our shoulders as parents who both work full-time.Lastly - the staff and teachers are really, truly wonderful. From administration staff, to teachers, to teachers aids - every interaction is a pleasant and engaging one. It’s clear they love their jobs and the school operates in a way where they have the support and resources they need to do their jobs well. We’re so grateful for our experience at AELC and wish there were additional locations in the Denver Metro closer to our new home!

Horrible place, my sister worked there for a week and was treated poorly by staff, she said one of the girls yanked a pacifier out of a toddlers mouth, she said she witnessed an employee cause a mark to a child’s face, and said “ I’ll just say he fell”…. I hope this facility has cameras!!!!!

AELC is a hidden gem in Denver. The school is the only one of its kind to have individual outdoor playgrounds for each age. Kids just walk right out of their classroom door onto a secure playground made just for them.I have a one year old and two year old registered in the program and they are thriving. Their teachers are incredible and truly love them. Each of their teachers have been at AELC for 20 years which is something you don't see at every childcare center. As a working mom, I really appreciate that my kids have breakfast, lunch and snacks provided throughout the day.Would recommend the AELC to anyone! It is one of the best childcare centers in Denver!

Our daughter has been attending AELC for about a year and we love it! It is a well run facility with great teachers and staff. My daughter has been well taken care of and learned a lot here from the beginning.

Amazing 4-5yr old teachers! I've watched and interacted with the directors and teachers for over a decade. Being a professor in teacher preparation for 20 years and having my own kids, I have been so impressed by the skills the PK (and also formerly K) students have before entering K-5 public schools. The PK students are far ahead of their counterparts at other schools with reading, literacy, social emotional skills and motor skills. They also partner with MSU which keeps teachers and pre service teachers always reflecting on and employing best practices and have so many opportunities for campus events.

After this facility under went administration change it fell apart. My child's teacher quit due to poor working conditions amd always being understaffed. My child was in a toddler classroom that was made to be quiet the entire day. They made me meet with a speech therapist, claiming my child was delayed in her speech. She was not. My child was also hurt under suspicious circumstances and I was obviously lied to by the director. They let my child play for half the day with a cut on her forehead that required medical attention and I know this for a fact because I was sent pictures from that day in the classroom and my daughter had a bandaid on her forehead in a picture where she was painting, they don't let the kids play with big messy crafts 15minutes to pick up which is when they said it happened. I would not leave my child here, I would find a better facility.

There’s a plethora of reasons I don’t recommend this facility, inexperienced staff, disinterested staff, high turnover in staff, lack of academic and emotional support for the children, and no appreciation for inclusivity. Not the place for our family by any stretch but know there are really incredible options in the community and aside from Auraria.
