We love AELC! We have two kids (2 1/2 and 4) who have been attending for a couple years. The staff is super engaged, caring, and consistent. The admins are very organized and have great communication. They ensure the safety of the children is priority, while managing to create a warm and encouraging environment built for inclusivity and learning!

Both of my kids attend Augustana Early Learning Center, and they love the teachers and friends there. There's a combination of tenured teachers who have been there for years, and newer faces who just joined this year. All of the teachers are kind and loving to the kids and genuinely want to enrich their development and social skills. The kids do all kinds of fun art projects and sports. Augustana makes it easy for families, providing meals and snacks, great hours, and a very fun summer program. We are happy with our decision to be a part of this center!

Our oldest daughter started attending Augustana when she was 3 and was there all the way until she started kindergarten. She still goes back on out of school days and for summer camp. We love the caring staff, the programming, and the environment. When our youngest was old enough to attend, got her started there as well! We love that we get daily updates and photos about what she's learning and doing. We love being part of the AELC community!

We have loved Augustana for three years now! Have had all three of our kids attend and now our school aged kids attend the summer camp which they love! So nice to have the option for after-school care which is bussed directly from our school. ALL the staff are sweet, caring and communicative. We trust them fully and our kids love to go to care there everyday.

As a parent with more than 1 kid this was the only affordable daycare available in the area and is an awesome place! I don’t qualify for state aid or discounts but don’t make enough to afford other locations like primrose. Augustana is truly a blessing and is a unicorn of daycares- high quality with the lowest price. My kids love it here and have made friends that last well into elementary school.

The teachers and staff are thoughtful, kind, and creative in their activity planning and care for both my son (3.5 - preschool) and my daughter (6 - after-care program). AELC is a warm and welcoming place that we love being a part of!

An incredibly gifted and talented Early Learning Center. Filled with loving and caring people. The community works hard to support each other.

this is a racist early learning center. the head of the school is blatantly racist. the church housing the center is overtly racist. do not send your child here if you value their psychological development. my daughter hated it. #pathetic #racist

I cannot say enough positive things about AELC. Both of my children have attended since they were itty-bitty, and I’ve never felt uneasy about dropping them off. The staff loves children, and their demeanor shows it! My daughter is currently in their kindergarten program, and couldn’t be happier! We love Augustana!

My son's words should tell you enough, "Tell them to not send their kids there. The other kids are mean and break your stuff. And the grown-ups don't do anything except yell at you and put you in time-out in the bathroom."We had the extreme misfortune to attend here for a year. I changed it as soon as I could.

Our family has been at Augustana for 6 years now and we love it! We have one child in all day pre-K in the Crickets classroom and one kid who goes for after school care (and camp too) in the Fireflies/Explorers class. Each classroom has age-appropriate fun toys and learning stations for the kids. We really enjoy different seasonal experiences, like water play and field trips during the summer. In addition to traditional playgrounds, sandboxes, and bikes, they also have unique outdoor experiences, including helping out in the community garden and since and nature learning in the “fairy garden.”The staff are all super supportive of each child and their needs. The center’s administration is amazing in terms of dedication and concern for the kids and their families. This place really feels like a second home for my kiddos!

We transitioned to AELC from another center a year ago. Both my children attend- one in a preschool classroom and another in the school-aged after care program (and summer camp). This is a school full of love! It's a great community, one that is inclusive and diverse. It's a non-profit center with a great parent committee. The teachers and directors have such strong relationships with the children and their families! My oldest has some learning differences, and they've been wonderful in working with us to find some fixes. They have a great curriculum for ages 3+, and I'm confident my little one will be prepared well for kindergarten. In addition to the regular classroom, AELC offers science, music, and outdoor education with a specials teacher. They have an optional extracurricular soccer program, which we love. Tuition has been kept low as a priority for AELC, which is so rare. Tons of great things to say! Highly recommend!

We are entering our third year at Augustana, and our love of the staff and the Center has only grown. Our oldest is in the Kindergarten room, and our youngest is in the toddler room and both love going to school. The teachers and administrative staff are dedicated to the growth of the kiddos, and continuing to improving the Center. We did so much research on daycare/preschool options around Denver, and not only was Augustana one of the best priced options, the additional programming they offered far exceeds most centers; snack & lunch provided 4 days/wk (all days except Fridays), music class, science class, Spanish! (pre-COVID), access to and activities in the community garden, and fun adventures in the Fairy Garden, they also offer Soccer Shots and dance (pre-COVID), if parents choose to enroll their kids (extra cost for those outside activities). The seasonal summer programming/camp is amazing -- water play and field trips (including museum visits, hiking, pool days) -- and make for a great experience for the kids. The director and her team are very present in all the day-to-day activities of the Center and deeply invested in the children's experience at the school. We truly love Augustana and could not recommend the Center more highly to prospective parents.
