Shopping experience was different. Had people kind of following us around. Felt a lil uncomfortable.

TL;DR: Arc tolerates sexual harassment. Buyers beware. I was shopping a Saturday sale here when I noticed a man following me in the store. When I got in line, he came up to me and said something sexual and gross. I shut him down loudly and caused a scene so he'd f*ck off. (The guy had been telegraphing his creepiness so I was halfway expecting it.) The guy walked away, but I watched him go up to the next young woman in line and do the same thing. I got out of line and shut him down again. Then, I approached the security guard at the front of the store. I let him know what was going on and pointed out the guy. (He was focused on another woman in a clothing aisle.) The guard said there was nothing he could do because it's store policy not to remove unhoused customers. I said, that's great, but he's sexually harassing women in the store. You can see him right there. Is that against store policy? He wasn't apologetic, and he refused to even approach the guy. He said there's nothing he could do. I know this is just one person's anecdote, but it's a common situation, and the store's lack of response suggests to me that it's deeply mismanaged. So boo, Arc thrift stores. An org that takes no responsibility for its customers' (and workers') safety is worthless.

I’ve been coming here for years and in the last few months it’s become almost impossible to support this business. Everything is priced super high, you would be better off just buying things new in a lot of cases. Any sweater even the worst quality will be $30 pants have been climbing to $20. Insane that a “thrift” store has become as expensive as a curated boutique, especially considering the condition of most of the pieces.

This is one of my favorite thrift stores in the Denver area. I always find really unique vintage clothing & home decor and their craft supply section is amazing. They do price hike a little but honestly so do most secondhand stores in the area.

do you want to pay retail price for a used coat? look no further! i was genuinely DISGUSTED by what i saw at my last visit to this store. screw poor people, right? the very people these stores are supposed to be for? y’all need to pull your heads out of your greedy behinds, this is SO wrong…..not a single coat under $20 on the whole rack!

I've always found some gems at this Arc - been going to for about 10 years now and it's probably my favorite overall thrift store in Denver.

love arc, but when i went there today one of the OLDER MALE who knows better workers was being extremely rude to a hispanic lady. she was asking for a fitting room best she could and all he could say to her was, "need a room? si? si? si?!!!" and turned to her husband and said "you need to learn to speak english." grow up.

I always find hidden gems at this arc! I've found designer clothes, cool knick knacks, toys for my two year old that I've found still selling in stores.

Absolutely loved the selection available for the items for sale. On the more expensive side that I've seen for a used/second hand not for profit organization. The announcements on the pa were excessive, for the last hour they announced what time it was and that they were closing 8x in less than the hour I was there. Great selection in a great area in Denver. I hope to see improvement next time I visit.

Worst experience of my life. I forgot I had locked my cc so it was declined and I remembered it so unlocked it but needed my phone so had to run to car. There was a cashier and manager who were so rude. While I was being check out manager going through everything and was rude when she found 3 stickers on it so basicly accused me of trading prices. I said I pay whatever. Just kept rushing and pushing me. Then when I was declined she was so angry and upset and cashier and her looked at each other like I was a l***** Then in very loud voice said that my card was declined and voided my order. I went back in with my credit card and she was like you sure it's unlocked because I won't allow her to rering it if going to be declined. I said that she didn't need to be so rude. She just looked at cashier who smirked and they rolled their eyes. I asked if Arc usually employed such rude mean employees and one said I have no worries about losing her jobWow I work retail myself and I guess just being thrift store is not worried about losing customers. They had none so upset then continued to belittle serial other customers. At 25 min. To close they locked doors refused service and were talking bad to other people. I am so sorry your company that's so desperate.
