The owner of the company (Joshua Slusher - as everyone else says is a joke of a business man) subcontracts people to do his jobs. Usually that’s fine. He decided to at first deny we paid him $400 for reserving the truck and for the first 2 hours. After that when the men arrived they were the least organized humans on the planet. There were 3 and at one point 4 of them who couldn’t move a 2 bedroom apartment in one day. I got vastly overcharged for hours they chilled, smoked, went out for lunch (even if I ordered lunch for everyone to speed things up), they never were separated doing actual work - they were always in the same room chatting and barely working. They moved things into the new apartment and just randomly put things places. For the next 3 days some progress was made but very little since none of the same people were present for each day. I had everything in the apartment moved about 6 times and never to the right place. Mind you they claim to be professionals and I allowed them to do their processes. MISTAKE. You need to tell these people what to do every minute of every day and check up on them to see where they are. Obviously they all leave together for 30-40 mins at a time throwing away garbage? That’s a one man job. They milked me for everything they could and STILL couldn’t deliver. Their contractee V is a liar. He’s told me every day they could handle it. That he would get it done, everything put away, built and organized by Thursday 7:30pm. It’s Monday at 11:15 and my apartment is in shambles and I had to hire a new company. On top of that the is inappropriate and forced me to listen to him in my apartment about his personal situation with his wife, him questioning me about my dating preferences, told me I was very attractive and a catch, and every time he’s here he insists on speaking with me alone which I’m incredibly uncomfortable with. He does this in person talk so he can’t be held accountable to what he says. He’s yelled at me twice in my own apartment, once with his colleagues and another time when we were completely alone. DO NOT HIRE THESE POPLE. They come to your place and tell you about their jail terms, their cellmates, the drugs they used, they live in sober homes, and are not capable of truth, responsibility, respect or organization. Best part is the owner doesn’t give a flying F. Worst move ever, some of the men were great (Tony, Anthony, Marcus) but besides that save your money/stress and RUN!According to Robert who reviewed a little further down: Joshua Slusher is the scammer is who has been stealing money from numerous people in the Colorado area. His moving company is indeed a scam with no employees, no moving trucks, and no offices. I took it upon myself to report Josh to the Denver Police Department. They looked at the google reviews and have already filed a report so watch out for this criminal. So there you go

COMPLETE SCAM- Do not trust this company as I am out close to $500. Same story as everyone else. No answer or returning calls... I've reported this company to BBB, The Federal Motor Carrier Administration, CO Attorney General, and Denver Fraud unit. Joshua Slusher was my contact as well.

Joshua Slusher took my $218 deposit then never returned my calls, didn't show up, and won't issue a refund. This company is a scam. Look at the many Google reviews saying the exact same thing. I wish I had before giving them my money.I am opening a case with the Denver City Attorney through the Fraud Line: 720-913-9179.I suggest anyone else that was robbed by this company do the same.

Trust these poor reviews. Paid for a move and was on the schedule 3 different days but no one showed up. Called everyday for the last week between Sales, Dispatch and Claims with no response. Josh Slusher was my point of contact

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.Mine is the same story as the others. Joshua Slusher took my $318 deposit then went AWOL. No confirmation email or calls & nobody showed or answered the phone on moving day. Don’t waste your time or money. I’m disabled & out $650+ bc this is the second company to take my money & not touch any of my things so now I’m paying rent in 2 places.Go to Hell, Josh!!!!

They were quick with promises, and took a 300 dollar deposit. On moving day they never showed up. I'm still trying to get my money back.

I scheduled a move with them a month in advance and they just didn’t even put me on their schedule, so nobody showed up the day that I had my whole house packed up. No good, very bad, don’t use this company.

I am the latest casualty where they took my money and never showed up. The cancelled at the very last moment the first time, never called the second or third time. I had to call them multiple times. I’ll work with my bank to try to get my money back for services not rendered.

Same story as everyone else. Took a $318 deposit. Was supposed to meet me on a Monday, they cancelled an hour before I was set to meet them saying their pallet jack broke. Move it to Wednesday and I called them 2 hours before I was set to meet them to verify we were still set to meet. He answered saying yes (although he sounded like I woke him from a nap at 3:30 in the afternoon) and then they never showed or responded to calls or texts. When I initially called to setup the appointment he said he had just bought the business and was working on improving their reviews because the previous owners managed the business poorly. That should have been a sign for me to check the reviews but I didn't. I don't even know if this guy has movers or if he just collects deposits and then never shows up.

They took our $328 deposit and never showed up. They cancelled our move three times and then just stopped returning our calls. It’s been over a month now. We still haven’t gotten our money back. No one picks up or calls us back. Scam scam scam.

Altitude Movers in Denver is not at all accredited by the BBB! They kept my pre-payment money of $250.00 and I never heard from them again!
