Not a friendly place. We just moved here yesterday from Colorado and went to open an account and they cant because they need a utility bill. Our lease and welcome letter wasnt enough. Would not recommend.

I am writing this review from a different email but my last two digits of my debit card is 29 and account number ends with 5014. Here is what I want to say. Because I feel this is the only way I can express my experience and feelings so that you will improve in the future after reading this. I like the bank, it is a local bank and the app is very easy to use. But I don’t like the fact that you cannot deposit money to their ATM and when I need to deposit money I have to come inside the bank and make an interaction with them, which I wouldn’t mind to do if the customer service was good but because their customer service is bad and every time I feel forced to go in, and I leave feeling bad that I ever came. The reason for that is their customer service and in particular this elder lady with white gray hair who wears glasses. Every time I come here, I get weird experience. The cause of all is this elderly lady with white hair, her name starts with T. I don’t know if she is a teller or a banker. But she’s always rude. Whenever I come in, I feel like I came to her home uninvited. I don’t know if it’s just me or if she has personal dislikes towards me or if it’s just her usual state of her behavior. When I first started coming to this bank, this same lady said that every time I come to their bank, I must remove my sunglasses for cameras like if I came there to do something else! And I didn’t appreciate that at all, especially her tone when she said it! No other place has ever told me this before! thought it was so weird, also the way she said it. Then after this I came one day to get a cashier’s check and just asked if they could waive the cashier’s check’s fee and a gentleman who was helping me agreed to waive it for the first time and then this same lady with white gray hair comes over and right in front of me starts scolding this gentleman and says: “I don’t understand why you waived the fee, I just don’t get it, just don’t get it”!!!! I understand she wasn’t happy with it but why say this right in front of me? Then I had a name change and came back again to get a new debit card on March 24 and this same lady with white gray hair and glasses goes in front of me and starts whispering something to the teller who was helping me and laughing about it! I got a feeling they were laughing regarding my name change which wasn’t their business at all to talk about, regardless of the reason and what they were whispering about right in front of me, they shouldn’t be doing it right in front of customers because some professionalism is expected from the people who handle your account. After all this isn’t some Walmart store. In the end, I came home and realized that the bank has MISSPELLED my name on my account! My name is misspelled on my account, not on my debit card but on my account! How could it be? If you misspell customers name, what else should we expect? I feel this is all the fault of an upper management because they failed to provide a proper training.

Alpine bank is horrible. Like the worst bank ever. I don't even know where to begin. I set up an HSA & got a voicemail saying I would get a message in my portal with my info. Nope, no portal messages. I then got an email saying I could log into my account and to go to a certain place to get my account number. Nope, it's not there. I sent them a message last week through the portal. It's now the end of the day on Monday and they still haven't responded to that message. Seriously?

Nice to find this bank on the Front Range. Friendly service, didn't see a drive thru, but 15 min parking available up front.
