Ordered foreign currency for a trip. I was told when I arrived to pick up the money to sign for it. Because I didn't know the exchange rate I believed that all the money was there. On my trip I immediately discovered I received less than half the funds. After weeks of disputing they claim there's nothing they can do because I signed. I paid over twice the value of the currency to ultimately pay their fees and error. They can't be trusted. The way I see it they stole my money, how does a bank make this kind of error and then refuse to fix it if it was unintentional?

My husband and I got a HELOC (home equity line of credit) with the help of Drew Britton. He was friendly, patient, and explained everything well to us. We used the HELOC to buy a house out-of-state while we were waiting for the closing on our Colorado house. Drew made everything really easy! He was always available to help, whether I called him or emailed him. We were very happy with his service to us, and would recommend him highly.

Alpine touts themselves as being a local bank and supporting their local customers. Far from the truth. Website. Issues which resulted in inability to access account. Long delays with trying to reach a customer service agent. Tried messages through website .. these aren't responded to for 2-4 days. We recently got a large legal settlement and deposited the check into Alpine Bank. Unbeknownst to us, the bank manager then slapped a hold on the check ... even though the check was immediately cashed and funded the next day by another large local bank. The manager lied and said was was unable to verify the check .. and then admitted he never tried. He then lied to his manager and claimed he did try to verify the check to do a CYA. The manager claimed he could not release the 7 day hold he put on ... until we found that Alpine had been fully funded on the second day. Our lawyer sent us a copy of the payment to Alpine. Think we wouldn't check on this? Then we had a separate issue with someone that did a fraud Zelle. Not our fault again ... but Alpine closed our account since we were difficult customers. Right. What a lie.

The New Design of Alpine Banks backend made me cry tears of joy it looks so beautiful. Always friendly staff, but to see a beautiful UI/UX improvement, wow. That is really the cherry on top. Thanks for always improving, but also thanks for always being great!

I've been with Alpine Bank for several years. I love this branch for its location. I'm a Cherry Creek lady and love how clean everything is. Everyone here is always smiling and helpful. Also, I prefer small banks. I want people to know me and I prefer to know them. Being just a customer isn't good enough to me. It's a two-way street here. You prove yourself and they prove themselves. I never feel pushed into products etc.. I feel they treat everyone equally too. Whether you live paycheck to paycheck or you have lots of $$$ in your account, you are a valued customer. Gina is ALWAYS helpful! Dennis is honest and direct, which I appreciate. If they don't have the answer, they say so; but also do their best to find the answer. That goes a long way!! They are fasy on transactions and help monitor for fraud. Their fees are lower than 1st Bank or other big banks. Some of the cons are hours, it can feel short. There is NO drive-thru. The lobby is spacious but parking is a pain. There is only street parking, after all this is Cherry Creek. It truly would be perfect if there was drive-thru or designated parking.

We switched to Alpine Bank this year, and couldn't be happier. We should have switched our accounts years ago- we love them! The customer service couldn't be any better- we are treated like family when we go there. A+

Nice friendly and everything you would expect from a local bank. I was with some of the bigger banks for a while but appreciate the fact that every time I call in I'm speaking with a US based representative, and they transfer me to the branch (with low or NO hold times) anytime I need something from the branch specifically that they can't handle through customer service.

Of course credit unions are the best option, if you are going to bank though, I would suggest Alpine Bank. Customer service is phenomenal, immediate, and personalized. I never had problems with them and was always impressed at how quickly I was addressed and helped. I got my card before I left the bank the day I opened my checking account! They are very much a neighborhood bank who still had my back when I went out of state and had to dispute a charge. Alpine is awesome sauce.
