Kory and Angie have a beautiful salon. Kory cuts my hair. She does a great job. She's also very accommodating with her schedule and very professional. I would also like to mention they sell some great candles there. Made from real beeswax. They smell great and work great.

So I leave AK Studio on a cloud, charmed by the bright and professional treatment by Angie and feeling confident with the cut I really wanted. This part has happened to me before, albeit rarely. The next day, I wash my hair, run out the door with it still wet, spend the morning in the hot wind. Around 10, I look at myself in the mirror and am astounded at how my hair has fallen into place, has a crisp line to it and feels healthy. Hands down, the best cut I have ever had, with more than 15 year living in France and 8 in Asia. Denver has a real gem in its hair design midst.Service: Hairstyling

Kori did my hair and makeup for my wedding, and it was perfect! Trial was definitely worth it- we discovered that my hair needs some serious help if it's going to stay curled for more than an hour- and I loved that I knew what to expect on the day of the wedding. The location is great and their place is beautiful. Tons of natural light and really comfortable. Scheduling and payment were a breeze. Kori even worked with me at the last minute to change the time of the appointment. Most importantly, my hair and makeup turned out exactly how I hoped! I didn't give Kori much guidance but she figured out the right look really easily. I found a hairpiece for my hair after the trial, and when it didn't quite work on the day of, she found one that did. Both hair and makeup held up all night too!

If you’re looking for the best, you came to the right place! I’ve been a client of Kori’s for about a year. She has excellent knowledge on unique cuts and styles bringing out a personalized custom hairstyle for every individual. She not only is one hell of a master stylist, she really focuses on the individual experience for a custom look. Angie is wonderful as well! These women do wonders!
They recycle byproducts, all products are plant-derived.

I just what to add my voice to the chorus of others singing the praises of Angie and Kori. I've been Angie's client for about four years, and I've never had anything but the very best service and results. Angie and Kori are true professionals with a passion for their work. They attend shows and events to keep their skills sharp. Angie is an artist with color. I can suggest a general idea of what I want in terms of cut and color, and Angie takes it from there, doing what's best for my hair texture (curly!), face shape, skin tone, etc. She never misses! Plus, Angie is a great person to spend an our with. :)

My haircut was excellent and the treatment was wonderful. I enjoyed a thorough head massage before the shampoo and never felt rushed. However check the prices before you go, it's a bit spendier than the average salon.
