This is a classic neighborhood hardware store. They have everything. Knowledgeable staff that knows their inventory. Way better experience than the big box stores.

Care more about stopping shoplifting than actually selling stuff. Everything is locked up, took forever to find an employee to unlock. I'll come back once they treat their customers like adults.

I like to do things myself but have very little knowledge or experience and the employees are always so helpful. I usually go in not even knowing what I don’t know and they always find a way to help and problem solve. My saying “I have no idea what that means” is never met with any condescension and they usually have what I need even if online says it’s not in stock. So grateful to have this Ace walkable from my house!

Was the best store for the neighborhood, now it's the worst with the new owner. We can't get a lot of items we used to for basic repairs in the neighborhood, the least 3-10 times in I have been told we don't sell that anymore cause of the new owner. This new owner needs to learn the neighborhood and the buildings surrounding it. Stop being like k mart. Know your market, know your customers. We spend over 50-75 k a year alone at ace, now we have to go to specialized plumbing stores to get the most basic things

I've never had a bad experience here. I know not much about anything hardware, but the employees always patiently explain and help me. Will always go here over Amazon or anywhere else without their knowledge.
