I took my Audi Q7 TDI there for repair. He said the engine was completely damaged and that I should junk out the car. I tool the car to the dealership for a second opinion. They refuted his assertion that the engine was damaged. My car is still running till now without any engine issues.

Terrible experience - Four days and $822 and not only did they not fix my problem, they created another one that cost me another $600 to fix. The shop is an absolute mess with piles of papers, chip bags, and full ashtrays everywhere - the photos on the website are a false representation of the current shape of the business. The owner Eric wasn’t expecting me on our agreed-upon appointment date, didn’t have the part on hand as per our agreement, and upon pick up, handed me the wrong car key and didn’t offer a receipt until I asked. I came in because of a knocking noise in the rear and thought it might be shocks. Nobody bothered to take the car for a drive to feel/hear what I was experiencing and instead he told me I need front struts. I was confused because the noise was in the back but went ahead anyway. They took 4 days to replace the front struts, did a terrible job leaving grease everywhere and tearing the CV boot – and left me not only with the problem I came in with but a brand new one. I then took it to another place who gave me excellent service. They drove the car, took ‘before’ pics and had me fixed in a single day.I don’t leave many reviews but for some reason, 5280 has good reviews and it was the single worst experience I’ve had with a mechanic. I gave Eric a chance to make it right and respond, which he never did. I want to warn people away from 5280 and to the other shop, who took EXCELLENT care of me. I’m leaving a review for them as well so you can find them and stay away from this awful place.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I'm speechlessI dropped of someone's lazy, sloppy work here to have it finally fixed right. It wasn't an easy project. Eric and his team returned my car in amazing condition. It's a different car entirely. 5280 is my shop for life.Services: Auto body & trim replacement

5280 is an awesome Audi repair shop. I've brought all may Audis here for almost 10 years. The owner Eric is a nice and knowledgeable guy. Their prices and labor are on point. Every time I have work done they show me the old parts and let me know what needed to be replaced and why. They also have a great knowledge of what needs to be replaced and when. Not just the "Audi dealership states we need to do X repair at X time", they really know their cars. I cannot recommend these guys enough, they are honest, have great prices, and do great work. Thanks for keeping all my Audis running Eric!

I have never, in my life, picked my car up from a shop and have the owner show me the part on my car that was broken. I love better understanding the engineering behind cars in general, and this was a really cool experience. I trusted 5280 going into this repair, but that moment set into stone that I won't bring my Audi anywhere else... Very reasonable labor costs as well.

Now this is an amazing gem. The work the mechanics do is out of the world. No matter what they are doing they will drop what they are doing to speak to customers as they come up. Eric the owner is a stand up guy! Most definitely he will take care of your vehicle and ensure it's squared away.

Eric and the team at 5280 Motorsports have won my trust and will be my go-to mechanic for my VW. After years of dealer service, I finally decided to find a mechanic who knew what they were doing, but who wouldn't charge me a ton of money and try to up-sell me at every turn. I decided to try 5280 after reading other reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. They are very knowledgeable, the prices are fair, and I even enjoyed talking shop with Eric. When I noticed a small issue after the service, he was quick to rectify it and didn't hesitate to make things right. All in all, a very good experience, and I'll be back.

These guys are incredible. Very knowledgable and no BS. If you have a VW or Audi they're the best. When I was in college and had an older Audi A6 that would occasionally have problems, these guys treated me like family. I truly can't say enough good things about this place.Services: Transmission

I’d give 10 stars if I could! Eric and team provided incredible customer service. He fit me in over Memorial Day weekend and in an extremely generous gesture gave me a ride home after dropping off my car. Highly recommend 5280 Motorsport for anyone who wants a more personalized and reasonably priced experience compared to the dealer.

I feel so luck to have found this place. They have helped me with every big and small issue I have had with my older jetta tdi. They are quick, reliable, friendly, affordable and honest. Have used them twice now for my wife's Volkswagen and both times they have been great with identifying what is wrong, fixing it quickly, and charge a fair price.
