We were traveling through Delta, Colorado, when the fan on our Chevy Tahoe started to run, non stop. We were traveling to Crested Butte, over an unpaved mountain pass. Tracy at Hellman Chevy Service determined the problem was a thermostat. Luckily, they had one in stock, and he was able to squeeze us in with one of the technicians. We are so thankful for their professionalism, kindness, and were sympathetic to our cause...travelers on a road trip, a long way from home!

Called to find a date for service for an equinox that I got a few weeks ago and the service guy told me I have to go all the way to junction since he's got one certified tech. No mention of a date available or anything, the guy didn't even let me finish telling him what the issue was. I've had better service from literal criminals in Afghanistan.

My husband and I were traveling through Colorado when we hit some wood in the road. My Husband looked underneath and saw that the skid plate got broken. Here we were in the mountains on our way to Montrose when I started googling dealerships near us. We got in touch with John Hobbs the Service and Parts Director. He told us to bring it in and they would look it over. We got there less than an hour before they closed, put it on the rack and determined the skid plate was broken, but nothing else. They took the part that was broken off and bolted the other back on. We went to pay and John said No Charge. What nice people. We are from Texas and how kindly we were treated. Thank you John and your mechanics for helping us. God Bless.

My 2015 Silverado broke down in Delta last month and I was stuck for four days. Local auto shop refused to help with a unique issue. Hellman Chevrolet came through with flying colors and got me back on the road, so I could get back to Virginia. Massive shoutout to the service department, especially Stephanie in parts who went above and beyond to assist with finding a part that is no longer available. Huge, huge thank you. I would highly recommend the Hellman team for servicing your GM vehicle and even though I live on the east coast, I will consider buying a vehicle from them when my next one is needed. Excellent customer service! Thank you Stephanie, Gordon and your whole team!

The service department employees are rude and unprofessional, unorganized had to do paperwork twice, had to come down here twice, lost my personal information. I wanted to do my business local, but now I’m reconsidering.

called in to have my water pump done and was told a price then called back told that none of the techs want to do it because they don't have the right tools then told they would do it if they could charge me an extra 70$ for the tool they would need to buy to be able to do the job when I bought the vehicle from there and it makes no sense to make a customer pay for a tool to have their vehicle worked on so I have since found a shop that will do the whole job for almost a 1000$ cheaper for the whole job and I'm not being charged for the tool that's needed

We were quoted $350-$400 on transmission fluid change and another $90 for oil change they called me asking if I wanted a new filter for transmission I said yes but then told ** after the fact they never change the filter on fluid change. So bill was $800 I was never told that's how much it would be. I am saddened by what happened communication is key. Never again

Gordon and Tracy are amazing to work with! I have taken my new car here to get serviced and they are always efficient, friendly, and very thorough when explaining things to me! I would highly recommend working with them! Definitely worth it!
