Snooty's Pet Salon
720 East Main Street Suite B, CortezThey did a super great job with my shy little guy Franky. His cut was exactly what we were looking for and the staff was super friendly too. Only downside was they were a little backed up but it was the day before a holiday so that's pretty normal at pet groomers. Key thing they don't take card.

Once Upon A Sandwich
7 W Main St, CortezCute place, though quite pricy for sandwiches, but it’s a nice atmosphere with the medieval theme. Really cute and quaint. Excellent, friendly, fast service. The Rueben and Philly Cheesesteak were AWESOME. SO much flavor. Wow. The fries were great.
Do NOT recommend the coleslaw, it was really awful (we LOVE coleslaw, salads, and veggies normally). It had a weird sweetness to it—tasted maybe like it was just a variety of delicious-looking veggies covered in miracle whip with no other flavors. I was just gonna take it home for the chickens, but my husband did end up eating it.
Do not recommend the Mac and Cheese. It fell flat with very little flavor/cheese. I don’t think they made a roux for the sauce which led to dry, flavorless noodles. Which is a shame because the noodles weren’t mushy and had a great texture—often the downfall of Mac n cheese. The crumbles on top have promise. Just needed something. We dipped it in ranch and fry sauce which helped.
Overall it was a little too pricey for us ($16-$23+ for a sandwich). For 2 sandwiches, a bowl of Mac
and Cheese, and an Arnold Palmer, our total was $61 before tip.
I would recommend visiting and giving it a try, though. And it’s a unique place to take out-of-towners for lunch.
