my boyfriend and i became stranded due to a leak in our radiator. we took the car to eighty eight the next morning, larry is amazing! he took the time to explain everything to us and even showed us where the leak was. he was able to get everything done same day and you can tell he really cares about his work and clients. we appreciate everything he did for us so much!

Larry has worked on all of my company vehicles. He takes pride in his work and always explains to me what he is going to do and then what he has done. He is systematic and really analyzes what the problem is. Most importantly, his prices are reasonable and better than the local competition. I wish I could give him more business, but he has my vehicles running great!

88 Auto Did a fantastic job on our vehicle! They were very busy and had time to squeeze me in on a crucial Repair. I did not think it would get done as fast as it did. He even took time to Explain to me what was going on with the vehicle, And even showed me the worn out part that was replaced. Top-notch service and a top-notch place to get your vehicle serviced or repaired. The receptionist at the front desk was very polite And communicated very well! Making It a great experience. This is my third time in there, And every time has been excellent Customer service.

Really nice people here at this shop. While my box truck was a little too big for them to work on, they steered me to another shop and took the time to look at my truck and tell me what I should do next.

Went in with a "death wobble". He replaced a ball joint I had replaced two weeks earlier and told me it was fixed. It wasn't! When I went back and asked about it and showed him the receipt from the previous work he had no explanation and no help in fixing my problem. I won't go back because he ripped me off.

Some rusted bolts, unable to do my oil change. I am traveling across USA with my family. Larry and his daughter were able to take care of my vehicle in no time even if they are booked a month in advance. They torched the bolts in 5 minutes and did the oil change + new nuts and bolts. I was only charged for the oil change. Big tumb up for these guys. I am a good mecanic and i know the business. Caring people like them are very hard to come by ! Thanks ?

100% Satisfied.Good people, honest business and very knowledgeable. Friendly and helpful.My husband and I were recently on a vacation that had us driving through Cortez Colorado, 1,462 miles from home when we started hearing a concerning noise from the car. It kind of sounded like something was dragging or something was wrong with the front passenger side break. We stopped to take a look and didn’t see anything dragging, but the noise was still there.We found Eighty Eight on Google. It was 2 miles form where we were so we went there and are so glad we did. Although they said they were booked until Oct. 2nd, Larry did say he would take a minute to look at our car. In a matter of minutes, he had it diagnosed, fixed and we were good to go.Turns out a small piece of stone got stuck up in the break.They were reasonably priced and we gave them a tip to thank them for taking time for us.Larry and his wife were kind and helpful and took time out of their schedule to try to help some out of town travelers. We are so grateful we found Eighty Eight. If we didn’t live 1,400 miles away, we would surely go back.

We had an encounter with a deer that damaged our Mercedes based RV radiator. We could not find anyone who would do an emergency replacement so we could return to Tucson. In spite of a large backlog of work they made time to do our 5 hour repair. That saved us a $3000 tow to Albuquerque. Fine service and very pleasant and honest people. Oh my GODDESS! If you are in Cortez and need a mechanic! This is by far the best place you can go! I was traveling with family in Colorado and lost the breaks of our Schoolie (bus). Larry did the impossible to help us in so many ways.He reallyyyyy knows what he's doing!Super professional!Besides him and his wife are so nice, attentive, humble and the list goes on and on !!!Super cool family!I recommend this amazing service!!10 out of 5 stars??????????
