TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! We had been driving for 8 hours and arrived later (9pm). We were exhausted. Kids were exhausted. Checked in and went to our room with 4 kids. Pulled out the couch bed that was obviously slept in and messy with a yellow stains and black specks all over the bed. Went back down to the main desk and requested clean linens (none were in the room). The main desk flat out refused. We were willing to change our own sheets (which is one of the main costs for the hotel stay!). We shared that we could not sleep in a bed that was obviously slept in. He said he could not do anything about it. NO offer to change rooms. NO other offer of accommodations. NO APOLOGY FOR THE DISGUSTING ROOM.We said we would have to leave, we could not sleep there. He shrugged, said okay and walked away from us. We insisted on a refund. He said that he could not do that that we would have to contact Expedia (we did not book with Expedia).Called our booking agent who kept us on the line and called twice to the main desk where they could not get an answer (convenient).Left and went to a CLEAN hotel down the street that was AMAZINGLY accommodating and was $70 cheaper. Our booking agent continued to try to work with the hotel for a refund. THEY REFUSED, even after 48 hours.WILL NOT stay with any Best Westerns again. So disappointing. Suppose to be a great family friendly, good service business. Not anymore. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!Rooms: TERRIBLE!! DISGUSTING! DIRTY! DO NOT CHANGE THE SHEETS!

After getting harrased by local police while napping at a gas station after pulling over to take a nap because I was too sleep to drive and almost fell asleep at wheel. So I had to get a room at this hotel, but did not feel safe and this hotel because this hotel was not protecting against spread ofCovid.

This was the best bang for my buck! The rooms were clean and smelled fresh! The lady at the front, Stephanie, was absolutely amazing and she had the best smile even at such a late night! If I ever happen to pass through here again, I will make this hotel a solid place to rest on my trip! Thank you, Stephanie!

Well equiped, king bed room, microwave, refrigerator, work desk. We were here in winter and the room was warm and ready for us. Blackout curtains, parking right in front of room, helpful, efficient front desk person, full hot breakfast.Rooms: Well equiped, king bed room, microwave, refrigerator, work desk. Blackout curtains, parking right in front of room,Safety: Felt very safe.Walkability: Across the street from City Market/Starbucks, near a few restaurants, but generally not a place to walk from.

the room was okay, a good size but a little bit dirty. The pool made my hair green, as I talked to the front desk they said „we are very sorry, maybe there is too much chlorine in the pool. If it‘s still green in a couple of weeks, please contact us.“I did, because it‘s still green. (My hair is blonde but I haven‘t colored it since 14 months)Now they‘re saying „we are not responsible for any damages“I‘m very mad and wouldn‘t stay here again. There was a kid with me in the pool, this white T-shirt was green too after his swim.Safety: Pool is not clean, to much chlorine

This 1 star is for the breakfast. Rest all is pretty bad for this place. I was passing by and was looking to spend a night here, went and saw great reviews for the place and booked it . When I reached at the hotel ( it is more of a motel actually) I was given that room next to road . When requested it was changed but that’s where the fun ended. When I entered the room , I saw pet hair on the sofa even though front desk asked what kind of room I wanted and I was clear it should be the one without pets.In the morning the toilet clogged without even using it. When I went to the front desk , this is what I was told - “ Use a plunger”. I mean really?? Am I your guest best western or am I your housekeeping staff??I pay you for the services and not for doing it on my own.You expect your guest to do your housekeeping?I asked if I can get a key to a room which is not occupied so that I can use the bathroom. The response was - “NO because I don’t know which room is empty “.Why the hell are u on front desk if you don’t know how to use your system and see which room is empty. When I asked can you help, the answer was - “ NO coz I am the only one and can’t leave front desk and housekeeping will be there at 8 AM” . I was like Ok and left expecting the front desk to be courteous enough to send someone at 8 but no one showed up till the time i checked out at 9:15 AM.Lastly I was told to use the common washroom which is what I finally ended up using as I was left with no choice. Also, when I went back I noticed there was plunger, that means they know that there is a problem and expect this to happen. This is the first time I saw a plunger in a hotel.Really really pathetic.I understand you have taken an old building and are trying to run a business but if you are asking for top dollar to be paid, then the guest would expect a good service from you and not what you are providing.Never again I am going to stay in any best western.

About as perfect as you can get. Beautiful rooms, great WiFi, very popular hot breakfast. Because this property is so good, the parking lot fills up fast so don’t be late if you’re picky about where to park.

Stopped here traveling through to NM. It was the off season but very pleased with how up to date and clean the rooms were for the nightly rate. Good location for walking to restaurants and stores in Cortez as well.

Beautifully maintained hotel, great service, great location in a beautiful, charming small town, our experience with this hotel was simply amazing. The breakfast was bountiful and there were various choices you could choose from. You deserve my 5 star, we'll be back!

Traveled with my wife and our 6 month old sheepadoodle. Service for both check-in/out and breakfast was very good. The room was clean with 2 beds. Linens fresh , clean and plentiful. The beds were comfortable . Shower/toilet room was small, with a full tub with a grab bar. Water was neither hard nor soft, and bar soap was provided. Four full size towels were provided . In order to get a down stairs room we settled for a corner room under the stairs; not ideal, but by bed time it wasn't noisy at all.The pet area was conveniently located in the center of the parking area, and bags to clean up after you dog were provided . The grass was clean, green, and mowed. The room was a bit dated and needed some sheetrock work, but overall the room was acceptable. The HVAC worked okay, without the typical cycling every 3 minutes typical at most motels.Breakfast was provided, with an assortment of typical hotel breakfasts. Quality was typical of what you'll find at most "provided" breakfasts.Overall, we were pleased with out stay and would stay again. The price was fair, with a BW club discount requested and provided.
