Happy beyond belief with this full motor build. He has great deal of attention to detail and takes pride in the builds .. He backed up his work at no charge on a idling issue and fixed it. Can't wait to get my WRX tuned this week . Thanks again to Mike and his crew ...WELL DONE!

Took my car into Colorado independent Subaru for a engine rebuild and I gotta say, mike and the crew are wonderful. Apart from being very knowledgeable of Subaru rebuilds, they are great people. They made time to answer all of my questions prior to starting the build to ensure everything was to my satisfaction And even after the build they have been very helpful with any maintenance questions or concerns. They delivered the car in a timely manner for all the work required. Although It maybe Slightly out of the way for anyone in Denver like myself, doing business with this crew is well worth it. Couldn't be happier to be back on the road with my car running better than ever,thanks to these guys.

Never would recommend this guy to anyone. What a Joke. Has to be the worst mechanic in CO. Hands down the worst work ever done to my car. He literally messed my car up. What a Joke.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. Mike provided exceptional service before, during, and after the repairs.Pre-service:Mike was incredibly communicative with both my husband and me about our issues with my 2009 Subaru WRX. He responded via text and called us to talk about the issues we were encountering. He also walked us through diagnostic procedures we could do at home and recommended the next steps based on our reports. This led us to feeling confident in our decision to use his services once we fully understood what the problem was and what we felt comfortable with doing at home vs. taking to a shop.Repair:Mike and his team rebuilt the engine and turbo on my WRX, installed a performance clutch, replaced the alternator, and eventually the rear differential. He walked us through the entire process, provided price points and alternative options along the way, and even saved the old parts so we could see for ourselves and understand what was wrong/damaged in the car. It was a collaborative process the entire time, which I very much appreciated.Follow-up:Upon pickup, I received a detailed report of all of the services that had been agreed upon and completed, along with the mechanic's recommendations and warranty information. Mike was awesome in answering any questions I had and even checked in multiple times over the next few months to ensure the car was still running well and I was satisfied with the service. I asked him about upgrades and he was incredibly thoughtful in his response, including regulations that are potentially coming in terms of emissions standards and options for improving performance while still complying with regulatory requirements.This is your place/guy for Subaru work, and he'll help you with DIY projects to boot! My car runs great now and has even more zip than when I brought it in!One Very Satisfied Customer :)

Mike and the staff have been awesome through our new engine installation. I initially just bought an engine from (CISR) and my father and I installed it ourselves. After about a month of breaking in the motor we found that the engine was burning oil. Mike honored the warranty and personally made things right by installing a 3rd new engine in himself at no cost to me. Since then the car has been running great and we have had no issues with it going forwarded. I would absolutely recommend them for an engine repair and it’s nice to know that there are some great people behind this company. Thank you!!!

Mike saved me and my beloved Subaru. My engine completley died one day before I left on deployment. He was upfront and realistic on options and cost. He kept me updated throughout the repair. And hes an all round nice guy to deal with.

We bought an engine from here for our Subaru Forester (under my boyfriend's name Buhr) a suggestion from a friend. Getting the rebuilt engine and them taking our money was easy. Getting a receipt of purchase or having the core picked up and returned to get our core charge back has been impossible. We have called at least 7 times trying to get them to have the engine core picked up and ANY kind of paper work sent over. We have talked to 3 different people one of them named Mike about all of this. Given our names, phone numbers, emails, address, and mechanics address. Every time we get told it will get sent to us and the engine will be picked up in a day or 2. It NEVER happens. Our mechanic is tired of housing this engine and is going to scrap it due to it being there for weeks and weeks. Now we are out the extra $650 for the core charge, we have no paperwork besides the money out of my bank account, the engine we did get is having issues and has from the beginning (which we were also told they would pay for it to go to a shop to fix after the break in period and never been done), and the filters and oil you are supposed to get when you order was never there. All around we are very upset, out money and a good working vehicle that our little family could really use.

this outfit owes me $1000 core refund now for several months. will not talk to me or return my phone calls. beware!!!! rebuilt engine was incorrect requiring 5 hours additional labor to reroute an oil line. very poor customer service. give them a pass.
