I sent a distributor to Buffalo Machine and they rebuilt it better than new. The distributor was from a Hercules engine and was very tough to source a company to do the job.I would recommend them for any distributor.

Superb communication throughout the process and excellent workmanship. Called to get information and decided to go with Jim and Buffalo Machine Works for rebuilding my 63 Lincoln Continental Distributor. During that conversation, Jim let me know right away the waiting and fix time estimate before I could get my distributor back. I didn't have an issue and decided to go with Buffalo Machine Works. They emailed me prior to starting to clarify what I asked to be done to my distributor. Unfortunately, my Outlook was having issues so they never received my reply email. Jim called me within 3 days of sending the email and we got the questions/concerns sorted out. During the rebuild process, he informed me that I could not paint my distributor black like I wanted because of the type of metal it was made of; and, if painted, it would just flake off. He offered me an alternate option which I agreed with. He also provided a detailed explanation of what needed to be done to the distributor. When distributor was completed and shipped back to me, he also included the paint/sealant information for my distributor and where to get it if I ever needed it later on. I was very impressed with Jim's communication and workmanship, I plan on sending them my distributor out of my 69 Continental as well. I definitely recommended Jim and Buffalo Machine Works for any distributor rebuild. See the before and after pictures.

I sent them my one owner,1964 GTO distributor. I was told there were others ahead of me. They took 6 MONTHS! They did not have the proper specs to test it. Did not have the electronic pulse unit, so they could not test it at ALL! What kind of places advertises working on distributors wen they don't even have the specs! When they returned it, it did NOT have the same original cap, nor vacuum canister. When I pointed this out and asked for those items back, they became nasty and were very unprofessionally personal, calling me names and even threatening me. I'd give NO stars, but Im afraid people might think I just forgot to click on them. I will NEVER use them again and I would suggest everyone stay away. Everyone makes mistakes, it's how you handle the mistake that measures your character. In my opinion, this company has absolutely no character! On top of that, they were very expensive.
