APPLICANTS BE AWARE---Brett (hiring manager) is VERY RUDE & condescending & will hang up the phone. They're posting a job for drivers but says they're not hiring drivers and need dock workers but still don't hire a driver who'd potentially be interested as the dock worker. RED FLAG-

We have weekly deliveries. The drivers are friendly and professional. When I call the office with a question, they have answers, and give them to me with (it seems) a smile. Old Dominion does a great job, especially considering the massive shortage of truck drivers in the US. Thanks, OD!

We switched from about local shipping company, so glad we did, OD has been a much better experience. Haven't had issues yet with them trashing our material, it always amazed me how the other company could ruin steel ramps!!OD has been great and they gave some really awesome employees

I worked here for several months and there are way too many issues to get into on a review. Poor employee treatment, HR has a close relationship with the manager (conflict of interest) and they don't compensate for working weekends and every holiday except Christmas Day. Salary employees get completely screwed on overtime and they teach their workers to keep a lot of information from customers to increase their own profits. It's sad they can claim to be the best in the industry.

- Updated Review -We submitted a claim and their representative looked into the lost poles. The poles were found in their Great Bend facility (KS) and brought to the site, but were severely damaged and we could not accept them. The seller (Hapco) sent a new set of poles and those were delivered in good condition. The reason for the 4 star is because both the seller and ODFL initially denied the poles were lost and it wasn't until the claim that they looked into what happened.See original review below:We ordered two 20 ft light poles (& hardware) that were supposed to be delivered by Old Dominion Freight Line (ODFL) on 01/17/2023, but never arrived. The poles were coming from Abingdon, VA (24210) to Boulder, CO (80302) and had a cost of $2,620 and a fabrication lead time of 14 weeks. The BOL included two 20' poles that weight 150Lbs & two hardware boxes of 50 Lbs.Per ODFL's tracking info, the poles made two stops between the shipper & the delivery address, 1st at ODFL's origin warehouse & 2nd at ODFL's destination warehouse (5601 Holly St, Commerce City, CO 80022).On Jan 17, a ODFL truck driven by a middle-aged man arrived at the delivery address carrying only two boxes of hardware. No one else was with the driver, no other items were brought, there was no forklift in the truck nor on site. Distance from truck to building is over 65ft.Upon the driver's arrival, our superintendent asked if there were two poles in the truck. The driver said that no poles were in the truck & no poles were part of the shipment, only two boxes. He even indicated the marking on the boxes saying "1 of 2" and "2 of 2". Upon clarifying that those two boxes were the only items included in the delivery and having already reported the two missing poles, our superintendent signed on an electronic device.Immediately after, our superintendent communicated with our manager, who reported it to the vendor within 15 minutes.ODFL presumably lost the poles, the driver didn't bring them & couldn't have unloaded them without assistance, but ODFL is eluding any responsibilities using a fraudulent Proof of Delivery. The worst thing is that no one is arguing the fact that the poles were not delivered, they simply say that they have a signed POD.

Blocked me out of leaving my apartment complex and just told me to wait. Would definitely like to be compensated for work I've missed because of this. They just stood there and looked at me. And very obviously terrible movers throwing around boxing labeled fragile. Inconsiderate idiots.
