Okay it is an alright elementary school but in the middle school it is horrible. They do not do anything for bullying, they constantly loose teachers halfway throughout the school year. And teachers can bully and pick on students without repercussions. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE. I attended all 9 grades and have been soo glad to leave. Please please please choose a different school. Most parents will tell you it is amazing but please talk to the students, there are things parents do not realize. Like at the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year THEY RAN OUT OF FOOD AND THE EIGHTH GRADERS FOUGHT OVER WHAT WAS LEFT. they feed too little to middle school.

My experience with this school has been terrible on so many levels. We regularly experience poor communication, lack of response, disorganization, and discrimination. I also have major unaddressed concerns I’ll detail below.Discrimination - I want to start with my biggest complaint. We're a blended family and despite having 50/50 custody and being active, loving parents, the kids' dad is always treated like a second-class citizen. At parent-teacher conferences I can't tell you how many times we've shown up to a conference with a teacher who has none of the printed test results or academic progress reports ready to show us only to have them say, "Oh, I gave that to their mom already." They can't be bothered to show the kids' father the same courtesy and respect and print another copy for him.One year, a teacher actually CANCELLED the parent-teacher conference my husband had scheduled with her and told him he needed to come to his ex's conference time. We're talking about a 5-10 minute meeting. After going back and forth many times she continued to refuse to meet with him at a time that worked for him. We had to drive in and complain to the principal in person (where we can't be ignored) in order to get time to talk about our child's performance. As a step-parent, I get removed from email lists and constantly ignored as if I'm not a legitimate part of my childrens' lives. For three years in a row the SAME school office admins required me to bring in my marriage license to prove who I am. It was nothing short of harassment and they still stripped me off the lists. On one occasion, I came in to volunteer in the class. The teacher never greeted me and was rude the entire time. She then later told my child that I'm "JUST her step-mom." We have met with school administrators to discuss adding me to email lists and they make excuses, refuse, and tell us to just "share" emails that their dad receives. Other times they've blames some "policy" of theirs, and one time they scribbled a non-working phone number on a sticky note and told me to call their IT department. They're more interested in playing favorites than engaging with parents who are actively part of the kids' academic success.Poor Communication - Some teachers email, some use the parent portal, some ask you to download a separate app. IF you're getting communication from the school, it's in the form of e-vomit being constantly spewed from all directions.Lack of Response - When I write to the school or call, I'll only get a response sometimes. Some teachers are better than others. In general, I find the admin staff to be the worst at responding.Disorganization - Everything from school pickup and drop-off operations to management of everyday details is disorganized and chaotic. It'll take you forever to pick up your kid from school going through their stupid "snake" line, and trying to get information about school projects or other things your kids tell you about is almost impossible. When schools shut down for COVID, the admins had the great idea of donating all of the sanitizer and cleaning wipes (that parents purchased for their kids to use) to other organizations. Then when school started back up again, they hounded parents to send those impossible-to-find supplies to the school once again.Unaddressed Concerns - Our middle school aged daughter recently told us that a teacher found a positive pregnancy test in the girls restroom. She describes what happened next like a Great Inquisition where all the middle school girls were systematically rounded up and searched in the front office. Their lockers were searched, too. I emailed the school to ask if this story was true, and if so, why parents were not notified about it. No one has responded to me. It seems to me that IF this is true, they were creating a hostile environment for ALL the girls and a really terrifying experience for a young girl who might be facing an already diff

Teachers don’t do anything! This kid always hit me and my friends right in front of teachers and what did they do? Nothing. Also someone was being racist to me and the teacher just watched. Most of the students don’t know what respect is. Glad I don’t go there anymore

most of the teachers are a holes. Just really rude and dismissive and do NOTHING to stop bullying / harassment. Teachers constantly quit and just walk out of class. Very unsanitary

My child just started at this school doing virtual classes because of covid. I really like the curriculum that was implemented. I really like his teacher , she's strict but fair. The very little interaction that I've had with school staff is to pick up books or deal with the school computer that was issued for virtual classes, and so far its been great. They're always attentive and responsive to my needs. This is the only honest review on that issue. I plan for my child to go in person next year, so I'll see how it goes.

If I could give zero stars i would! I have had endless issues with this school, mainly a select few. I have been discriminated against, I have been told lies upon many other instances. Unfortunately many other families have had the same experience. I have even met some staff that worked there in the past years who left because of how terrible it is. Do a bit more research and do your child(ren) as well as you a favor by choosing a school that actually cares.

My daughter started here in the fall of 2020 during covid. She didn't attend in-person until 2nd quarter but going to Landmark has made her so happy. The teachers communication is excellent and they go out of they way to support her. Simply amazing!
