My recent experience with AVR CAR RENTAL at the Denver Airport was far from satisfactory. We had booked a van through Priceline for a trip to Aspen, but our journey was marred by faulty brakes, which posed a serious safety concern. The situation took a turn for the worse when we attempted to address the issue with Martha at the front desk, who displayed extreme rudeness and unhelpfulness.Upon returning the van, Martha advised us to contact customer service or roadside assistance, which we promptly did during our drive to Aspen, but received no response, leaving us in a vulnerable position. To add to our frustrations, the shuttle driver also exhibited rudeness and unsafe driving practices.In light of these issues and the extremely poor and disrespectful customer service we encountered, I cannot recommend AVR CAR RENTAL for your rental needs. Safety and support should be paramount in such situations, and AVR fell significantly short of meeting these expectations.

Price was 50% of the big boys, they picked us up at the airport, and they were very efficient. The vehicle was a dump with over 100,000 miles, and need of new shocks. With the mountain roads in Colorado, I felt like I was going to bounce off the highway. Interior windshield needed to be cleaned. As soon as the sun hit us, I was blind. There were several dents and scratches, but they were very good about documenting the previous damage, and there were no issues when we returned the vehicle.

If I could give this place a 0 star ratingI would have but that option was not available. Would never recommend this rental place to anyone. Only one circuit driver back and forth to the airport.My family and I waited 1 and a half hours after landing at the airport. Four calls latter the van driver finally arrived to pick us up. Below is a picture of the vehicles they supply you with. Enough said, if you rent from them, oh well I tried to warn you.

This was the worst experience we have ever had with a car rental. They were going to give us a minivan that had been wrecked and had over 120k miles. The lady argued with us over the refund and said she was not able to do a refund we would have to call customer service. Finally got customer service in the line and that took another 30 minutes. This was so frustrating and they acted like it was a waist of there time to help us. They are new to the Denver area but have horrible customer service. The CS rep was so rude when we ask for another vehicle. Now we know to stick with the reliable rental agencies AVR IS NOT ONE OF THEM.

Absolutely ridiculous. They gave me a car with 85,000 miles on it that’s now overheating and won’t drive. Tried to call the company and it went to a voicemail that is full. So currently stranded 2 hours from Denver. Better Business Bureau will be getting a call for sure. Not a legitimate company.

BEWARE OF THEIR RATINGS!!all that good talk is false!. Read the other 1 star reviews and you'll see the common problems. The real customers all have had similar experiences.1. I didn't get picked up from the pick-up spot they list. Another company picked us up and dropped us off because they seen us waiting for over 45 min2. No inventory, had to wait for someone to find a car for us to rent3. No one picked up the car from the drop off point, so they kept my contact open and still is not closed, it's been over a week thus far... I keep calling no one answers the phone!!!!4. Oh, let me emphasize, NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE!!!, so getting this resolved is a nightmare. I call the call center, for which they have to send emails, and no one gets back to them. Dumb business model.5. Why would a company not pick up a car and miss rental revenue? What company operates like that?LISTEN TO THE 1 STAR REVIEWS!!!! just because they are cheap, you'll pay 3x, 4x more in headache, due to time chasing down a real person and bad charges!!!Don't risk it,

Worst rental service ever. Booked 2 vans, paid in full over a week ago and when we got there they didn’t have any vehicle available for us. Talk about ruining the vacation and its been over 10 days, haven’t received refund yet. I am on hold for hours and hours just to get my money back. Never renting from this company ever again. Running scam in the name of business.

Worse place to rent a vehicle from , had reservations over a week to pick my car up and paid for in full , get there and they gave my car to someone else and didn’t have anything for me to drive , they didn’t bother calling me or anything. Needless to say i had to find a rental car quickly and had to pay 150 more on a car. Talk about trying to mess up someone’s vacation , y’all suck and shouldn’t be able to rent cars at all . Thank you Payless car rental for my car and great service.

They need signage, you walk in and they all look at you, like ya what do you want. The license plate number in the van that we rented was expired. We went to the Denver location to switch to a new van. The manager gave us a different van after 3 hours of explaining the problem. when we drove the van, there was a lot of mechanical issues with the van and the van was not safe to drive. We returned to the office the next day to exchange the van. We waited 1 1/2 hour to resolve the issue. The manager and fleet manager left and the one that assisted us was an employee who just started 2 weeks ago. They end up attaching a temporary permit which they could have done yesterday and not waste almost 1 day of my trip andMissed several appointments I had planned.

The Van was good, only 1700 miles on it.Customer service and efficiency were horrible! Why do I provide all my details online and fill out an online reservation when they do the same thing again once I am in there office!?! 3 people at desk, but only 1 knows how to work on a computer!Preparing and making everything ready, so the customer is out quick; non existing! 1 hour it took me! Customer request‘s like one seat row out, not possible! As a european, this is unreal! I would fire everyone..! Sorry

DON’T GO TO AVR VAN RENTALS! First of all it too an hour and a half to get our already reserved and paid for vehicle. Second, We reserved and paid for a mini van, even called to check to make sure there were plenty. We needed a mini van bc my brother had surgery and has to keep his leg straight so needed that middle section between the bucket seats to allow him to travel without being in pain and compromising the surgery to his leg. And we have 3/5 people who are over 6’2 so we needed the van for the extra legroom for numerous reasons.Instead they gave us an suv with the fold up/down third row. And no bucket seats in the middle row so defeated the entire purchase.AND they still charged us the mini van rate which is more expensive than the suvAND the car came EMPTY, had to go fill it up, and now we pay way more for gas bc gas mileage on SUV’s is horrible compared to mini van’s.DON’t GO TO AVR VAN RENTALS!!!Now to top it all off the A/C DOESN’T WORK!!! It’s currently 99 degrees in Denver. How is this ok!??
