Worst ran Walgreens in Colorado. Seems like it needs a major overhaul, all the other Walgreens locations are usually fine. But this location has been nothing but problems.

As a provider, I just don't have time to be continually recycled on hold just to check on a patients prescription.

Text alerts don't work. They love robo-calling me several times telling me my prescription is ready, and when I inevitably DO go in to get them, they either don't have it, or say it's "stored in their system" and that I can't get them until two days from now. Either way I don't get my mental health meds. Leave it to Walgreens to screw people over in the worst ways possible, including their own employees. The employees are very nice and thorough, but the system is far from it.
UPDATE: Tried to get a COVID test and it took almost an hour to get one AFTER when my appointment was scheduled. Had to talk to someone behind the counter after 30 minutes of waiting and they (predictably) said that the check-in system isn't working. Waited another 20 minutes and then finally got tested. Are these people insane?

What a joke! When will wallgreens get their act together? Worst pharmacist in the USA. Makes me wait 2.5 hours to tell me I'm 3 days early to refill? (He called me up to the counter 3 times to tell me they were working to fill my subscription.
Quit your job if you can't handle it.
Horrible service. I suggest you die rather than waiting here.

I’m upset I’m forced to leave any star for this pharmacy. I moved my medications to this location because my health has steadily declined to the point I have a nurse coming into my home and this location is close to my daughter’s house, so it makes it easier for her pick up my meds. My pain specialist called in a prescription for pain meds a week ago, which they didn’t fill. My psychiatrist called in a medication this Tuesday, and Walgreens sent memorization that my insurance wouldn’t let them fill that prescription (Valium). When my nurse was filling my meds today, I called Walgreens and the pharmacist informed me without my diagnosis, she wouldn’t fill my pain medication. Further, she wouldn’t fill my Valium because it was written by another doctor. She said I never had those meds filled there before (which is correct, I’ve had them filled at Safeway since 2008). I have severe degenerative disc disease, Lupus, and psoriatic arthritis. Currently, I get 5 Valium a month for anxiety for my current health situation. I have a pain specialist. He SPECIALIZES in pain management. He also commented at my last visit how little I utilize my pain medication. In one year, I use what some people use in one month. Either way, while the pharmacy does have the job of making sure people don’t get multiple refills at multiple places, they do not have a right to gate keep how my specialists prescribe my medication. And they definitely cannot lie and tell me my insurance denied a medication, when it was the pharmacist doing it. My pain specialist just called it into Safeway, and it was ready within an hour. The pharmacist at Walgreens was very nasty. She told me to go back to Safeway, which I will happily do, but why should my daughter suffer because one more person doesn’t understand why some people can, and do use pain management? I fully understand the narcotic issues. Which is why computers all share our information. Walmart does this too. I don’t have to tell anyone why I’m in chronic pain, but here we are. I get injections, I go to physical therapy, I exercise, so no one has a right to weigh in except my pain doctor. Walgreens can F$&@ off. This is a terrible way to run a pharmacy.

I care take for My chronically ill mother and recently she started to use this locations pharmacy to make things easier for me to pick up on her behalf.. The pharmacist here decided it was okay to deny her prescription because “she had never had it filled there before” yes obviously, she was a newer customer and she only has this prescription filled occasionally as she uses it as needed. She also questioned how many her doctored issued and told her if she didn’t like how she was being treated that she should go back to her old pharmacy. I understand with certain medications they have to take precautions, but the attitude this woman had and the way she made my mother feel like she was being accused of drug seeking is cruel and judgmental. She is sick, in chronic pain, currently in a terrible lupus flare up. She did not deserve that treatment.
I wish she had gotten the name of this pharmacist but sadly she was too upset to ask. Do better walgreens. The people you are working with are real, sick humans and you denying their medications AND being rude as heck to them on top of it is unbelievable.
They have also lied to us before about her insurance deny a prescription when it is actually the pharmacist refusing it.
She will be returning to her old pharmacy despite it being further away. Not once in her 10 years of working with them have they treated her like this. The longer drive is worth being treated like a human.

I go to this Walgreens all the time for medication and little things I may need and they are always kind and help me out whenever I may need it. I’ve never had a bad experience at this location and I’m grateful I have this store close to home!

I'm not surprised this pharmacy has an average rating of 1.9. I've been getting my meds there for about two years and I don't think I have had a single transaction that I felt good about. The people who work there clearly do not care at all about their customers. I had a prescription for an asthma medication and even after 10 days they were not able to get it filled. Same with a second substitute medication. I called to check on the second one and they said it was out of stock. The worst thing about it was when I called, they didn't care at all...no apology, no help with getting a resolution. When I called and told them to cancel both orders, they said "okay" and when I told them I would not be filling any more prescriptions there, they said "okay". So bottom line is they do a poor job and they don't care AT ALL. NEVER AGAIN!!! And I will do everything I can to never step foot in a Walgreens again.

Can’t thank Chris enough for helping me search for a location that has my prescriptions in stock on very short notice.

I called to check to see if my son’s medication was ready for pick up and that experience alone was enough to make me have the script moved to another pharmacy. The person on the phone was not only rude but also incompetent. I spent 10 min just trying to get him to look up the script. He could not comprehend that my do for has sent it over and that Walgreens has my sons first and last name mixed to. Sent script to another pharmacy and it was ready in 30 min and cut and dry. Never again will I deal with this Walgreens
