This is the worst vet clinic ever. When I arrived to get my dog a heart worm prevention, I wanted to ask to be sure so I went to the vet and asked her and she was very dismissive and turned me away like I was beneath her. The male vet assistant was the same way when telling me the heart worm prevention was only at actual vets, so I would not recommend.

Atrocious. I can’t remember the last time I’ve been spoken to so horribly. Yelled at by a staff member and when I voiced a complaint about it, he threatened me.Save yourself the time & don’t bother here. They don’t care about your animals at all. I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever been treated so badly.

Okay but I still didn't buy anything. Here's the interaction I had after only finding regular goldfish in their goldfish tanks (okay, there was one ugly sick looking black moor and a some little speckled ones)Excuse me, could you tell me when you'll be getting in some more goldfish? Just so I could see a better selection?Maybe Wednesday or Thursday.Okay, thank you.But what size tank do you have? It's a 20 gallon.Well you can only have one fish.Okay... But I can see more on Wednesday or Thursday? Is your tank even set up?(I look down to my full cart of fish tank supplies)No, not yet.Well it'll take at least a week to cycle it. Then you have to bring in your water for me to check. Okay, but Wednesday or Thursday I can see a new selection?Yeah but I won't be able to sell you anything until you bring me your water sample. So I left my full cart and didn't buy anything. The cleanest tank they had was their feeder fish, they have crusty eyes rats and chewed up mice, dirty hamster cages and they're going to assume that I don't know how to set up a fishtank and refuse to even entertain the notion of selling me a goldfish? No thank you.

We took our dog to the vet for a rabies vaccine. The vet and techs were extremely rude. They muzzled him and just gave our dog more anxiety by their own actions than was needed. Then asked if he was on anxiety medication. We told her no. Then she advised us that we shouldn’t take him there anymore because it was causing our dog more stress than was needed. Our dog does not stress easily but he was able to pickup on the vet and techs awkward leashing, muzzling and holding. They seemed very inexperienced with large breed dogs. If your dog is the size of a chihuahua or shitzu this place is perfect for you. Don’t bring your large breeds here.

Literally no indication on where to go to get the vaccines and staff just didn't know what they were doing

This PETCO is pretty massive. They have a groomer which I have not brought my doggo to but should have. Either way, pretty generic pet store chain with plenty of variety. My dog needs limited ingredients food and they have ample choices. Just got a little kitten, too, and picked up the basics.

Terrible. I signed up for the “vital premium plan”, went to the vet and they had nothing to say and no equipment, required a physical exam in the back, couldn’t ask any questions, and they said then send all tests to a 3rd party lab so they charge through the roof.Went to vetco for shots and the appointment was at 5:55. Texted at 5:54 that I was in the parking lot. 5:57 they texted me to come inside and they tried to call me but “couldn’t get through”. 5:58 I get inside and they say the vet already left and they couldn’t do anything. Absolutely not worth the price. It’s only $20/mo and you’re getting a $15 credit/mo to use the service - all their products are wildly overpriced and you will save $5 by just spending at petco when you must. They offer absolutely no services further than any other customer could get past the normal prices. Just don’t sign up. Just don’t.

I just used vetco because I needed one updated vaccine for my dog and we couldn’t get into our vet soon enough. The lady that was doing the administrations was really rude and talked to me like I don’t know how to take care of my dog. How many years of experience do you need to know that some dogs don’t like to be handed over to complete strangers. She told me it’s separation anxiety when my dog is frequently away from me at daycare when I am unable to take him places. He is still training to be around and accept strangers and the fact that she immediately thinks he’s got separation anxiety rather than just being a normal, cautious dog shows me how much “experience “ she has with dog temperaments. I got what my boy needed and definitely will not be using vetco again. Just take your pups to the regular vet. Where they actually care and are knowledgeable about canines.

The way the nurse assisting the vet went about talking to me about everything felt demeaning and rude I just wasn’t pleased at all with the manner in which I was treated.

My German Shepherd is dog aggressive, but the team here took extra precautions to make sure he was comfortable! Not to mention they were all very informative and caring!

I came to this petco a few days ago to grab some puppy essentials with my dog Kipper and the cashier Joanne was so incredibly kind and helpful. She hooked me up with the vital care and saved me a ton of money. she was so sweet and I knew I had to leave a review so petco knows Joanne is the best!

I don't even know where to start. First and foremost this place is a ripoff. Their prices are so high I can't imagine anyone wanting to take their pet to this vet. My dog had a simple eye infection and I couldn't get into my regular vet so I called to see if they could help. I was able to get Shadow in but the vet said that the cost would be about $185. She said that they had to do an eye stain and wouldn't treat him without it. I asked if that would be the full price and she said that it could be more if they had to give him eye drops with steroids because his eye was scratched. I asked if we could forgo the eye stain and just do the drops with steroids and of course it was no. I just couldn't imagine that this was so much money so I declined the service went to my car and called another vet right around the corner. He told me to bring Shadow over. His exam AND the meds were only $77. It has been 24 hours and my puppy is feeling great with eyes that are back to normal. We will treat him with the drops for the next week and buy some new dog toys for him with the money we saved. PETCO VET'S ARE A RIP OFF DON' T USE THIS CLINIC! One last piece of info. PETCO vets will not allow you to go to the exam room with your pet. If you have a dog that is wary of strangers, it can be very unsettling for them. JUST SAY NO TO PETCO!
