I just found the coolest vintage Aztec belt buckle at Velez Galleries! The shop keeper was so helpful and he took the time to tell us about his family and some of the creators of the pieces they sell. After shopping at a bunch of cookie cutter boutiques, I was so excited to find this shop with so many unique & thoughtfully crafted items. The best shop I visited in Colorado Springs by far.

Amazing gallery! The greeting dogs are super cute and friendly. The owner has an eye for Native-made art and has so many incredible pieces! They have jewelry, paintings, sculptures and clothing. The customer service is top-notch and you'll feel like family!

Mike Velez is incredible, he worked with my wife and I to buy a huge lot of native jewelry from us that my wife inherited for a fantastic price. He literally spent an hour looking through each and every piece we had and took the time to explain to us why a piece was good or not, as well as telling us what materials went into each piece. Even the pieces he didn't want, he told us what they were made of so we would have an idea if we tried to sell them elsewhere. I highly recommend stopping by and taking a look at the beautiful jewelry Mike has in his store!

10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.Owner loves to mention people are non-buyers, the reason being is because of the owners rude demeanor. Of course I'm not going to spend my money at a shop that doesn't appreciate the business!

This is a beautiful gallery full of authentic and well documented native art from across the Americas. Michael is extremely friendly and enthusiastic and he is greatly knowledgeable about the regions and peoples from where the art comes. If you’re in Colorado Springs this is a must visit shop for real souvenirs which support the native people.
