Our daughter and son had the sad task of saying goodbye to both Molly and Weezy, who had been in both their families for so many years. The dogs were in so many, many hearts. Their own children had never known a day without the two of them in their lives. So naturally, we returned to Simone for a portrait of these lovely, inseparable mutts. She did two paintings of them together, one for each household, which we gave for Christmas. Simone's paintings are so full of love -- it shows in her every work. Like her painting of Robert Dog who went before, these portraits are hanging in places of honor in our children's homes. Thank you, Simone !!

I burst into tears when I saw our Robert Dog in pastel. The portrait is truly him; Simone captured the spirit of the beautiful dog that, for more than 15 years, gave our family so much love. Simone discovered his personality and spirit and rendered it beautifully. We are so grateful for her artistry. Robbie remains alive in our hearts, as all beloved family members do, and Simone's talent and caring have given us a warm visual memory of him. We'll be bringing the memories of our other dogs to her to capture. Thank you, from all of the Van Doren family.

Simone has just finished my 4th portrait of my dogs--2 with multiple dogs--I love them and everyone that sees them is very impressed! I would not have anyone else capture my pets likeness for me. A wonderful way to remember them!
