Great place for used HO, O scale model train supplies (track, rolling stock, models.) Some N scale, and some HOn3 and On3 models too. NOTE: they don't sell new merchandise, only preowned.

We were absolutely disgusted by the service here. The owner, Roy, called us “stupid” when we were questioning why we can’t carefully touch a product that we were about to purchase. If you don’t want anyone touching your products, open a museum or sell strictly online. We fully understand how delicate these pieces are. We were excited and ready to spend a considerable amount of money. We will never go here again. We will take our business elsewhere. The owner needs to change his attitude. I’m surprised he’s in business, honestly. I’m sure he wouldn’t like to be treated the way he treated us and, apparently, his other customers too. This place does not even deserve one star at all.

Customer service is a joke.. I called with a question and was told by what sounded to be an older gentleman, “there’s no way in hell I could do that” I understand you can’t evaluate something without seeing the condition but asking for a simple rough estimate would have been helpful. Instead you will get rude remarks and unsupportive, unprofessional answers. During the conversation I said, “now I’m hesitant to even come into the store.” and the gentleman with the store said “good! Don’t ever come in!” I don’t know if he was having a bad day or what the case was, but if I could leave zero stars… I would.

Absolute joke. I’m a younger member of the model railroad community, early 20’s, I look a lot younger because I have some acne. I was really eager to check this place out, I read the reviews and saw about how the staff treated kids, I figured I’d get some trouble but we could work it out like adults. NOPE, walked in and first thing I heard was. “I think you have the wrong store, we don’t sell video games.” As I’m literally wearing a UP hat. Decided just to cut my losses and just leave. Just going to stick to the internet for my layout needs. Great way to represent the hobby ?

I'm very disappointed in the customer service. My son and I drove a great distance to come here to get to a train set. We understand that they have a policy of no returns, only exchanges so we wanted to make sure the train worked. These are very old and used trains and so you're spending a lot of money and I just want to make sure it works. We had him test a Blue American Flyer train and it did not work. He was trying to offer half off and I was like no because I wanted a working train. My son and I continued to look for another train but every train my son was bringing up, the Hispanic customer service rep stated that something was wrong with it. My son finally saw a nice train and he was crossing his fingers and hoping that that was the train that we was going to take home today. The Hispanic customer service rep told us that " you guys can't be bringing trains up here if you're not going to buy it!" It was in a tone as if we were bothering him. I was really confused at what he was saying because he only tried one train. I advised him we came here to purchase and we want to make sure that the trains work. His response was for me to bring one up that you're going to buy. I told him I'm not going to sit here and spend this kind of money if your trains are not working. My son was really sad. All he wanted was a working train. I will never come here again. I immediately got my son and I told him let's get out of here. We will never ever come to your establishment again, not even if your trains are for free.

I love this store.It’s my Walmart for models n stuff.Those reviews about the owner “harassing” kids is untrue.When you have models that can easily break,you should be sure nobody lays a finger on it.TIP:ask the guys if you find someone you want instead of touching it.Also some stuff is broken.It’s either on accident or caused by disrespectful customers.5 out of 5!I got some pretty good stuff

Absolutely horrible to younger enthusiasts and very chauvinistic. Me and my kids enjoy trains and wanted to replace a few parts along with expand on our stock. Because of the way the owner treated my youngest girl and how he spoke to my wife, we will never go back. Doesn't deserve a star as his attitude and demeanor is hindering growth in the community and desires of future generations from carrying on this hobby.

If you want a museum, open a museum. Don’t advertise as a store and then scold people for touching. My family really enjoys model trains but we will be shopping somewhere else from now on.

The store had lots of items for sale, mostly in ho scale but also a good bit of stuff in other scales. The prices seemed kind of inconsistent, lots of stuff was priced a little bit on the high side as well as some regular priced stuff and some surprisingly low priced stuff, I was able to find everything I needed and am satisfied.
